WOW i cant believe how long this thread is!
well overall i think this trade is fair if we are only referring to this season
the salaries are a bit leaning towards the advantage of the cavs because of shorter contracts but the bobcats get younger players in return with the pick and Caron butler
im too tired to think right now since i just got home and its 11:30 pm here in the Philippines
so overall i think its fair and i ACCEPT

Wow. Picked a tough one to make my first vote in as a CM.
Alright, here's how I see it.
Pierce > Butler, Jones
Pierce is coming off a season where he just won the Finals MVP. Cleveland is looking to win now, so Pierce is a much better option to pair up with Brand than Butler. Yes, they had comparable stats in the regular season but look at the teams they're playing on. Pierce is playing on the world champs with KG and Allen while Butler was putting up those numbers with only Jamison competing for touches (Arenas was out for most of the season). Jones' expiring 4 mil narrows the gap a bit.
Now this is the tough part
James, Williams, Anderson, Meiija < Walker, Sarunas, 16th overall
James and Walker are a wash since both are expiring. James is rated 4 pts higher but Walker has a bigger expiring. That leaves Sarunas and the 16th for Williams and Meiija. That heavily favors Charlotte.
Overall, I think this trade is pretty fair, both teams get pieces for what they're trying to accomplish now. Cleveland gets a player who will help him win now and Charlotte gets youth, cap relief and a pick. I accept
