LAL do you watch basketball? Everytime you post, I lose more and more respect for you. Bigger bust than Stromile Swift? LOL. According to who? You? Gimme a break..... If you dont watch Tyrus play consistently, you wont know that he has been really good the last month or so. Averaging 15 & 10 in the span. He has an improving 15 ft jumper and is in the top 3% of the league in athleticism. He is more than a garbage man. He was the defacto #2 overall pick. The bulls wouldn't have traded Aldridge for him if they thought he wasn't ever going to hone his skill set. With consistent minutes now, most Bulls fans are actually warming up to TT and are happy we made the Aldridge-TT swap. Time will tell on who got the better end of that trade. guess what Andrea Bargnani has also been improving the last few months your point. a bust is still a bust, everyone has their 5 seconds of fame. BTW having Derrick Rose can make your really that good. oh yeah ask Darius Miles how his ATHELETISISM got him anywhere, it got him to the DL and almost out of the league before the Grizzlies saved his life. and BTW most Bulls fan on ESPN, REALGM is still calling for Paxson's head because of that trade he made. BTW is this why the Bulls just made a trade for Brad Miller.

What does any of that have to do with you calling Tyrus a bust?
What does Bargnani's play have anything to do with TT? No shit, Derrick Rose makes players better. Thats what great players do.
Again, Dairus was not top 3%. Plus, Darius Miles got injured. Its a whole different situation. Miles has been in the league for 10 seasons. TT? This is his 3rd.
Brad Miller plays center. Last time I checked, Tyrus plays PF...

I dont rate Tyrus that much he is ok but nothing to rave on about No one is raving about him. But I have to back him up when some people call him a bust already in his 3rd season. Its freaking comical.

To be fair, you called Durant a chucker after 1 season. Right now he is #4 in the NBA in scoring and shooting great percentages from the floor. I do agree though that Tyrus has played well for Chicago lately, and it is to early to judge his career.

Hey Durant surprised me too before i though he was a chucker with girls arms...but now he`s a baller with girls arm. He has my respect but until he can win games he`ll still be a good player on a bad team. Cause i think anybody good can score 25ppg on okc.

I have never really understood why people say it is easier to get numbers on a bad team. In my opinion it is actually more difficult to put up numbers when defenses are focused on stopping you. When you are on a good team a defense can't really focus on stopping one player because there are other players that are capable of putting up big numbers. Therefore, the floor opens up making it easier to get your numbers.

BTW you didn't just call Durant a chucker, but Bynum a one year wonder as well saying he didn't deserve a ratings boost. so that's 2 crows you ate.

Link? Stop making stuff up. Its getting old. Alright heres my lengthy post to all arguements made in this thread. 3. I will consider the Bynum-Horford arguement. Its undeniable what Hoford did in his rookie season. He was the main reason, IMO, why the Hawks made the playoffs. They had been lacking an inside guy for so long. Bynum has had 1 good half season. Yes, it was a dominant half season, but it was a half season. I will revisit this, though. Again the rookie case with Thornton. Raising him 2 points was a but much IMO. Durant is rated where he is becasue of where he was drafted (#1).

you didn't wanna raise cause he had a so called half good season when he actually made huge leap from year 2 (NOT LAST YEAR FROM 06-07, stats won't show that but his play early that season and till end it did.)

Bynum is not that good period, I don't see what he has done? A lot with his short time with the Lakers. But we can discuss this at another time, this is the trade deadline thread. sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?columnist=hollinger_john&page=TradeGrades-090218I didn't feel like going over 600 different ESPN links, so you just look at this one and ignore the IDIOT John Hollinger's comments and check the number of trades made today and which one you like the best.

Good news for Boston in this league. Should help his rating.

I don't know for sure what the salary cap will be in 2010 but I know the Bulls overall salary will be $27,205,850, which will give them the cap space to go after Chris Bosh. Hopefully we can trade Hinrich (not that I don't like him) getting his salary of the books will help too.
