if we did annex mexico, we would stop getting oil from there lol
but, annexing mexico is a bad idea on a bunch of different levels

so we should annex every country that immigrants come from?
but, my point was not whether they would want it or not (which their government wouldnt), but that it would put a huge burden on the american government to get 100 million more people living up to the standards that we enjoy in the united states

If we ever get things back to normal it is something to think about it.....though we did it with Pureto Rico. We would be able to make Mexican oil machines up to speed, and that would bring oil down. I'm not sure if it's practical but it's an interesting idea to think about. PS. It wouldn't take much to make the Mexican Government back down, there mostly gang kind of guys. |

honestly i think that if we annexed mexico, we would stop drilling there
the government is trying to conserve the oil in alaska so i would assume they would do the same in mexico
