Since he is a uncertain and a gamble with his stability in the nba we offer a 1 year three million dollar deal. He can prove himself again and get more money next year. he would be sixth man off the bench and a spark plug. This is a playoff team and a championship contender and hope davis would consider us. This way with a good year he can get big bucks instead of a small long term deal and then he does good and cant get the money he deserves plus he might get a ring here.
Year 1: $3,000,000
after siging we would be about 500k under the cap but under!!!

The Hawks organization would like to offer Mr. Davis
Year 1: $1,000,000 Year 2: $1,500,000 Year 3: $2,000,000 Year 4: $2,500,000
Team Salary Year 1: $51,752,909 Team Salary Year 2: $37,778,518 Team Salary Year 3: $27,100,000 Team Salary Year 4: $19,500,000
$7,000,000 / 4 years
We realize the offer by the Suns might be tempting but with only one year guaranteed Mr. Davis could be in the same situation next year even if he has a good year. This contract provides your client with job security. He would challenge the starting shooting guard job and even if he doesn't he would be the sixth man. His addition (along with players currently targeted) would push the Hawks into playoff contention. Also, if your client does rebound after a few subpar years he can get out of his contract when he wants to get more money from this organization or another organization.

5 years, $7,500,000
Year 1:$500,000 Year 2:$1,000,000-Player Option Year 3:$1,500,000-Player Option Year 4:$2,000,000-Player Option Year 5:$2,500,000-Player Option
08-09-$69,006.754 09-10-$52,833,333 10-11-$34,833,333 11-12-$22,000,000 12-13-$2,500,000
We would love to offer ricky the back-up SG spot and a chance to compete for the starting SF postion. He could be the key to us finally getting over the top and bring some leadership to a bench that would include Stuckey, Maxiell, Warrick, and Carney. He can opt out of his contract at any time and has all guarnteed money. We can also give him the best oppurtuninty to win a title

We would like to state that even though GS is offering more money, we would like to offer Ricky the starting SF role on a lineup that would consist of not only him but Billups, Richardson, Wallace, and Howard. We really do think we could win a championship with him in our lineup and moving Grant Hill to the bench. Plus he has team options in all the other years, so money can be adjusted next year if he decides to opt out because that way we can pay him more once our cap situation gets in check. Hes only getting 500k more from GS and Atl, and Phx isnt giving him any stability with a one year contract and a 6th-man role.

Oops i meant SF my bad... wrong position. A lineup of Bibby Wade Davis Smith Curry.. and a bench of thornton jones and gallini is a championship contender for davis to come play for.

Im stating here in this thread because I just thought of this and will make it an official rule.
If you make false promises to a player like a "he will start" and then not start him. There will be penalties. Not sure what those penalties will be, but make sure you use your explanations wisely.

We would also like to state that even though he isnt making a ton of money in this first year, he will get his pay day next, as we will have much more cap. We really regard your client highly and feel he could be the igniton to start this teams path to a championship

To be honest my client doesn't like any of these offers. Ricky feels he can still score 14-15 PPG in this league. Contracts of $500,000, $1,000,000, and 1/$3,000,000 are just not going to cut it. We will not accept any of these offers listed. We will hold out to see if anything better comes along.

With all you pitful gm out there underestimating the value of Mr. Davis. The Denver Nuggets would like to offer Mr. Davis a 4 year/16 mill contract. He is also guarantee a starting spot and gets to reunite with his best friend the truth.
y1-3 mill y2-4mill (player opt) y3-4.5mill (to) y4-5mill

We cannot offer Ricky Davis a starting position, but he will be making more money here in Miami than the other offers, and would be backing up Shane Battier on a championship calibur team.
Year 1: $5,000,000 Year 2: [blue]$5,000,000[/blue] Year 3: $5,000,000

We would like to re-offer Davis with a new 5 year deal worth $17,000,000
year 1: 2,400,000 year 2: 2,900,000 (Player Option) year 3: 3,400,000 (Player Option) year 4: 3,900,000 (Player Option) year 5: 4,400,000 (Player Option)
We again emphasis that Davis will be starting at SG for our team and make a run to go deeper in the playoffs. We also give Davis player options every year if he decides he wants to leave at anytime in his career for more money.

Ricky likes the Hawks offer and considers them his leader. Other bidders may put in one more offer to see if Ricky changes his mind.
