Not really, he can just let Smith expire and he'd have enough to re-sign Howard since he's trading away a lot of big contracts next season

well smith or dwight wont be a piston by the end of the trade deadline
but for now an 83-85-85-87-90 lineup looks godd, and still have a nice bench

i guess i will accept. it appears detroit wants to win right now and doesnt care that one of the two (smith/howard) wont be resigned this offseason.

Hmmm, I'll accept. Just remember that if you can't trade one of them, you'll have to work your butt off re-signing them if you can. At this point though, I stilll think the trade favors Dallas since J-Smoove is sup-par in sim leagues.
