I'll accept this. Denver obviously wants to take the gamble and try and get a big FA in the off-season. He also gets 3 guys in MoPete, Hill, and Jack that would help anyways. Cassell is a solid amount of expiring and he would contribute this season too. Denver's selling himself a little short, but not too bad.

Most of these contracts are wrong.
Morris Peterson: $4,500,000 | $4,500,000 | $4,500,000 | $4,500,000
Jarret Jack: $1,217,400 | $2,002,623
David Harrison was released by Charlotte and its just the contract thats being traded, its not clarified in the initial post.
Mejia is 2 years $500,000

yea overall this isn't too bad. 10.5 million in expiring contracts is pretty good, Grant Hill has a good rating still at 78, plus he's playing awesome in Phoenix this year (in real life). Not saying his rating will go up this offseason or anything, though it could, but it definitely should not be decreasing anytime soon if this season is any indicator.
Jason Kidd could lose a couple points this offseason, but we'll see about that.
The overall talent is actually pretty close in this trade, though I have to side with Charlotte getting Kidd as the winner. Still, not too bad...
