but IF I do trade Walton I would like to get a scurb in the deal.

I'm posting to say that I agree with the trade.
If it's completely necessary for him to throw in someone like Walton, I'd be willing to throw someone like Amir Johnson or Randolph Morris...Or the rights to my second round pick (Aaron Gray)...But I think the current standing deal is fair for both sides..
I give up Shaq..but I aid my need for a point guard by acquiring Farmar (Good young talent)..Help my front court after the loss of Shaq with Bynum (Again, good young talent)..and help my 1/2 positions more with Smush Parker. In addition, I receive a first round draft pick for 2008, which can help my view of building a good young team that can be a contender. I like the deal.

and let's not forget Bynum is avg. double double in real life NBA only playing 24 minutes per game.
imagine if he got Al Jefferson minutes, he would make Jefferson look like a nobody.
and Farmer is the leader of the benchmobs in LAL right now, and he is the guy that will replace Fisher very soon the way he is playing.

Bynum could be the future Shaq so it looks fair. NY's got a nice core of Redd and Bynum too. Unfortunately, I felt the wrath of Shaq-Redd. I strongly feel this trade could get rejected though.

I accpet
The Knicks gave me a pretty legit reason on why he is doing this trade and it makes sense for the Knicks to gain some cap space. They also get Bynum, who isn't rated well (yet), but is still a big time prospect.
Lakers are a legit contender for the title this coming season

i dont know about this one guys and cant accept or deny but farmar and smush arent that great and bynum is good but no where near shaq level. Shaq still has a couple of good years left and always has a great rating. Well until odom or bryant leave LA or he does his ratings wont get much of a boost
but not my desicion

Shaq is getting old and Bynum is averaging numbers close to what Shaq is putting up in only 25 minutes a game. Bynums rating will go up and Shaqs will start gong down.
I accept.

I am a huge fan of Bynum, and Farmar and Smuch are both pretty solid, especially farmar being younger and all. Also a 1st round pick, which looks like it'll be later, but still an OK player and player worthy of playing time.
I'm going to Accept.

I'm going to do what D5 does and have a 1 week probationary time for new members. Especially with major trades like this. This is to avoid teams trading their good players for youth and then becoming an inactive GM.
The trade will sit here until New York has been a part of this league for 1 week.

That's fair I suppose. I was planning on using the cap space to resign Mo Williams today, but i guess I'm going to have to wait until free-agency and hope no one else picks him up..

my opinion doesnt matter because every1 has accepted, but i would reject this trade in a heart beat, i understand knicks reasons why to do this trade, but if any of you honestly think bynum will be rated a 90 like shaq ur nuts, if any of you think jordan farmar will have an impact on a team, your nuts, and smush parker is decent, but this talent level does not add up to shaq's

The talent level -right now- comes up short..but when you throw on a first round draft pick, and factor in the cap space that I gain...It works out somewhat evenly, imo.
