Denver sends: 88 Jason Kidd $19,728,000 |$21,372,000
------Total-------------19,728,000 to Boston for: Jason Williams (73) 8,937,500 Theo Ratliff (66) 11,666,667 Eddie House (65) 1,250,000 1,000,000
----Total--------------21,854,167
I accept this deal as its key in my rebuilding process. Kidd contract is huge and this deal gives me about 20 mill in cap for free agent shopping "Dwight howard."

this trade isnt the best, but u guys should see that he will get Ratliff's great contract and he wants to trade kidd to make money for FA, like JSmoove, Iggy and something else...so he doesnt seems to want another player with a huge salary ... im not saying that its a good trade, but isnt bad and unfair...u guys need to think about this...

I dont like it from Bostons point of view
he has a young team, and trading his cap space for Kidd will only hurt him in the future, since he isnt gonna really win now anyway
As for Denver... Kidd is still a great player but 20 mill in cap room is a ton of money to get for this free agency season. Pau Gasol was traded in rl for expirings, and I dont see why a lower-potential player like Kidd shoudnt be able to do the same

I hear what your saying, but my team lacks a point guard. Getting Kidd and having a potential deal for Barbosa gives me a line-up of Kidd, Barbosa, Durant, Odom, and Frye. As for Denver he gets about $21 million in expring contracts to use in free-agency.

It would take about 5 expiring contracts to equal what he is getting from me in two expiring deals. Do you think he has the roster space to do a 5 for 1 trade.

Cap space is overrated in sim leagues. Free agents are few and far between, at least good ones are.
Im not a big fan of trading superstars for cap space. No mater how bad the contract is. Kidd is still a top tier PG. His value is immensely higher than 20 mill in cap space.

He has a 13 man roster. With that trade he would now have 17 players, you can have 15 max.
