The New Jersey Nets trades: Stephon Marbury(82)---$19,012,500---$20,840,625 Josh Howard(90)--9,000,000--9,945,000--10,890,000--11,835,000 Dan Gadzuric(61)--5,751,130--6,250,195--- 6,749,260--- 7,248,325 Cedric Simmons(60)---$1,629,120--[red]$1,742,760--$2,671,651[/red] 1st rounder 09 total outcoming = $35,392,750 total incoming = $29,030,476 To the Indiana Pacers for Jermaine O'Neal(88)--$19,728,000--[red]$21,372,000--$23,016,000[/red] Nate Robinson(71)--1,268,160--2,020,179 Jamaal Tinsley(75)--$6,300,000--$6,750,000--$7,200,000--$7,500,000--4,250,000 David Harrison(64)--$1,734,316 total outcoming = $29,030,476 total incoming = $35,392,750 ---------------------------------- there are so many reasons why im doing this trade: 1 - Gadzuric will disappear from my life 2 - I will get a great PF called Jermaine O'Neal who is one of my favorite PFs 3 - I will be under the cap for this year and next years 4 - I will get Tinsley who is equal or even better than Marbury 5 - I will be giving my highest rated player Howard but O'neal is a great big men so his values are higher (thats one of the reasons why im giving my only 1st rounder) and Nocioni is a decent SF

After much thought I will accept this, mainly because of the salary difference Nets is saving. I think Nets is giving up the better end of the deal talent-wise, but it's not a huge difference overall in the Ratings. The Salary makes up for it for me. The best players are Howard and O'Neal, and I honestly favor Howard in that one. He has advantages in his youthfulness, a much smaller, and longer salary, and he's rated 2 points better. The next set of players is Marbury and Tinsley, I favor Marbury here a little. Tinsley is doing great this season in the real life, but Marbury is still rated 7 points higher than Tinsley. Tinsley is a little younger, and Marbury's contract is really big, but overall I give a slight advantage to Marbury. The next set is Nate Robinson & David Harrison for Gadzuric/Simmons/1st rounder. We can't be sure of what the 1st is worth, but it could be better than Robinson. Or it could be worth just Harrison. I'd say this part is pretty fair, since we're not entirely sure about that 1st. If Nets are good and the pick is low, this part favors Robinson/Harrison some especially cuz of the contract of Gadzuric. I'll have to accept this, Big men are very valuable in this league. thx for accepting and O'Neal's values are higher than Howard IMO (who is 2 points higher because of that player boost that I did) cuz cuz he is a Big Man, and he is one of the best PFs, he is good playing D and can score really good...Marbury is a good rated PG but he is declining, has a huge salary and Tinsley's ratings are going higher cuz last season he was a 74...IMO this trade is fair for both cuz i will be well under the cap and will trade some bad contract and my best player(Howard) for a great PF and thats what I really want and Nocioni plays SF pretty good so it wont let me with players in the wrong position

I accept. It's a good trade for both teams since NJ really had no good PF before. I know he loses in ratings, but he finally gets rid of Gadz who he's been bugging me about with getting rid of. ;D

I reject. Nets are giving up way tooooooooo much. Howard for Jermaine O'neal & Nate Robinson is fair Marbury for Tinsley & Harrison ?? I know Tinsley is younger, but that is a lot of rating points to give up. Remember, ratings win u leagues not potential and youth. Gadzuric & simmons are just throw ins so they dont matter. The 1st round pick is completely unnecessary. Maybe if that is removed, I would reconsider.

i reject for similar reasons to sea. i think that marbury and howard can get u way more than JO, tinsley and nate robinson?! Plus I would have trouble just accepting that 2 for 3 deal. I think the extra players and the pick especially are way too much

Gotta say, I went into this deal thinking I was going to reject it, but after looking at it closely, myself, I decided it wasn't "bad enough" for me to reject. I'd be ok accepting it without the 1st rounder. I'm still kind of up in the air. I guess my earlier vote didn't count, so I'm gonna think about this some more and vote again. NJ has a good point though. If he chooses, next year he will only be taking on like 8 million while giving up 37 million. Or if he keeps Jerm next year, i assume he probably will, he takes on 29 while giving up 37. He wins big in salaries which was basically the reason I think the deal is close.
