I'm not quite sure Camby is worth all of that...If Camby was like 5 years younger maybe, but a 4 point difference isn't that much, and theoretically it's made up by that other player rated a 71. Add in 2 picks? Camby is 33 years old and CWebb is 34...Also, we just lowered CWebb's rating, he was an 80 or 82? and Camby was an 80. I am going to reject this one based on the only 4 point difference and the age difference is so small between the two big pieces. If this is Camby for CWebb and Flip, or cwebb and maybe even both picks, since they'll likely be lower picks, but not cwebb/flip/both picks.
Reject

Murray/2nd or the 1st needs to go. Gimme a few more hours, I'll come up with something then.

I've come to a decision that this is a bad trade for Detroit. The Clippers have stated it pretty much the best way possible. I didn't know that Camby was 1 year younger than Webber, but that helps my decision more in rejecting the trade. Do one of the two things I posted above and I'd accept that trade.
Reject.

the picks arent necessary for this trade to be fair
just Camby for Flip and webber is already fair considering that Camby is almost the same age as webber
therefore, i reject

the picks really arent worth much i think this trade acctualy favors me
ive made 3 good fa signings and i wont have room for picks and needed to free up room for FA by getting rid of flip
please accept, its fair

Even if those picks don't mean a lot doesn't mean you can't get more for them. You also can just keep the rights to draftees. Flips' only ~2mil, doesn't do you much IMO.

it frees up space for hayes and i have hunter to back up billups so i have no use for filp
i get a defensive beast and all my starters would be 80+

Pistons, as moderators/trade comittee members, we're not supposed to look at how it would help or affect your specific team that much, just the actual values of the pieces involved in the deal. I have 3 PGs i wouldn't mind starting, so should I trade Livingston, who's young and a 74 for a 36 year old PF rated 74 just cuz that would improve my starting line up a little?
We try to look at just the pieces in the trade, and I for one just think it is not a fair trade.

I reject, but for a totally different reason from the rest of my staff.
I actually think San Antonio is getting the shaft. All I hear in different threads from Spurs is he wants to rebuild. Trading for Chris Webber is the total opposite. you can get good young talent along with picks for Camby if you wanted. I just don't understand the plan the Spurs are taking. I know Clipps and a lot of others don't look at the roster situation in a whole, but being the admin I need to. I need to keep rosters balanced. Lets say spurs decides to leave for some reason. Who will want the spurs roster? This has happened before and im not going to let it happen again.
Because of this trade I have implemented a new rule. You may only do 3 trades with 1 team in a season. A season is defined as 82 games & the off-season. I'm not going to let 1 team trade with the same team over and over again. Just not happening.
Sorry I made this public, but it needed to be said.
