PRESEAON EXPECTATIONS:
The New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets are looking forward to this season as their main goal for this season is to reach the playoffs. " We feel that we have a good chance of making the playoffs this year. We have a good set of guys in the roster that can give a boost to the team on or off the bench." the HORNETS GM told the press earlier today. And concerning the teams health this season, the HORNETS GM had this to say "We are trying to condition our players to a higher level so that they can endure the length of the season" and " As long as we all stay healthy and our bench can step up when needed, we feel that we can reach and have a good run at the playoffs".
ROSTER CHANGES
The HORNETS GM had this to say "We are trying to make drastic roster changes to fulfill the team needs this year and will most likely be looking for a solid SG and a backup PF as we are still not balanced at these positions. We are also trying to improve our defense this year so we might be talking trades with the top defensive squads in the league which we think is our main priority in order to get into the playoffs".
BIG BEN comes to New Orleans!
Just days later after the season preview press conference, a Blockbuster trade was made between the New Orleans Hornets and the Chicago Bulls. "We are excited to have Ben play on our squad" the Hornets GM told the press. "This organization believes that Ben will bring the tenacity he had with him on the pistons championship squad in 04. He will bring to this team a lot of playoff experience and veteran leadership. He can rebound, block shots and he is a defensive monster in the low post". Wallace, the four time defensive player of the year will be joining the young offensive talent in Chris Paul as they try to make it back to the playoffs since the 03 - 04 season.
ANOTHER BLOCKBUSTER TRADE!!
After acquiring the four time defensive player of the year Ben Wallace, another blockbuster trade was made by the Hornets with the Houston Rockets. Tracy Mcgrady, who is still trying to get past the first round of the playoffs will have a good chance to go all the way with this team. "He deserves a championship" said the Hornets GM. "He has done a lot for this league and he deserves to win one and we will be the team who is gonna give it to him".
Vince Carter to the Hornets?

"We will not announce who might be players that we are sending to New Jersey but it is certain it will be one of our younger froncourt players".
