Priority #2
Offering $16,000,000 for 2 Years
Year 1: $7,000,000 Year 2: $9,000,000 (Player Option)
Total Team Salary 09/10: $69,203,731 10/11: $41,717,400
The Portland Trailblazers would love to bring Kidd's ability to the Rose city. Jason would most certainly start in an exciting backcourt with Brandon Roy. We are going for the title this year and feel we have a solid nucleus of Roy, Aldridge, Maggette, Beasley, Young, etc... Kidd is an upgrade over Calderon at the PG position and would also make an excellent mentor.

The Lakers would like to welcome Jason Kidd and his experience to Los Angeles. Jason Kidd has a chance to play with 2 fellow legends of the game in Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan, where with these 2 legends Kidd can help the Lakers rise to the top again and win the only thing that is left in his resume to win a NBA CHAMPIONSHIP.
Also if Mr. Kidd worries about the future of K. Bryant and T. Duncan, he should not as the Lakers will make precautionary moves to make sure K. Bryant and T. Duncan retire a Los Angeles Laker alongside Mr. Kidd.

We feel that both teams can offer a chance at a nice playoff run but Jason wants more than a 2 year deal. We would like if both team could offer 3 year deals without any TO. Also Jason wants to know if after you signed him if you would make any other moves to improve the team.

The Lakers have added another year to the contract of Mr. Kidd.
The Lakers will always try to improve and help the team get better, we have just offered Rashard Lewis a long term contract and we plan to offer other free agents contract if we fail to sign Rashard Lewis.
