The Orlando Magic have agreed in principle to a deal sending David Lee to the Los Angeles Clippers. Therefore, as soon as the deal is signed, David will be heading to Los Angeles, pending the trade's approval.
The Orlando Magic offer David Lee the following:
4 year/$47 million
2009-10 - $11,000,000 2010-11 - $11,500,000 2011-12 - $12,000,000 2012-13 - $12,500,000 (Team Option)
We feel this a great market value for him considering his play and if he were to sign this, he acquires one of the better salaries for PF's in this league and job security for 3 or even 4 years.
Orlando Salary Situation 2009-2010: $57,486,168 w/ no Team Options retained 2010-2011: $18,770,000 2011-2012: $0 2012-2013: $0

First off, I wish ORL would have consulted me on the offer. I would have rather front-loaded it a little bit. But, I'll live with something like this.
Secondly, and more important for this actual thread...you need my salary situation, not ORL's. So here it is, after the Bogut signing and after the Lee sign and trade.
09/10: $53,008,861 10/11: $44,539,704 11/12: $40,533,510 12/13: $28,439,670
Also, if there's any chance, OKC, that I can make a little adjustment to the deal, just changing when the money is paid a little bit, keeping the same amount of total money, please let me know.
Thank you :-)

You are welcome to change it but I assumed since I had the cap for this deal that it wouldn't matter to show ur salary situation...you are welcome to post your altered offer...apologies

You know what, just looking at some more things, I won't put in an altered offer. I do think you need my numbers for cap with Lee's deal in there though. And, no need for the apologies.
Thanks man.

David is intrigued by going to LA to play for the Clippers, but he is disappointed that the Magic aren't going to retain him. He liked the situation he was in and he fit perfectly as a role player on such a good team. Going to LA, he is going to be the man, and my client feels that isn't his best suit. Nevertheless, he likes money and the contract looks pretty good. The Clippers are a young, vibrant team and hopefully with the addition of my client, they can be a contender for a playoff spot.
Offer accepted.
