Now that David Lee has accepted his contract offer, this trade can be posted.
LA Clippers Receive:
81 David Lee $11,000,000 $11,500,000 $12,000,000 $12,500,000 70 | Jerry Stackhouse --- $4,000,000 70 | Desmond Mason ----- $5,000,000 -- $6,000,000
Total Incoming: $20,000,000 Total Outgoing: $1,143,400
Orlando Magic Receive:
73 Mario Chalmers $1,143,400 $1,223,200 $1,640,070 Draft Rights to these players (future salaries just noted here) 74 Chris-D Roberts $797,600 $857,400 $917,200 $1,439,670 65 Alexis Ajinca (Either 2nd round draft pick contract is available)
Total Incoming: $1,143,400 Total Outgoing: $20,000,000
I accept this deal. It's finally time I start combining some talented youngsters into even more talented youngsters. This trade does that for me. I like Chalmers and CDR a lot, but I think the David Lee - Andrew Bogut frontcourt is going to be truly magical. Their inside-outside game can be just great for the city of Los Angeles, and with Michael Beasley, Rudy Fernandez, Wilson Chandler, and other young and exciting players here for a long time, the Clippers can be a very exciting team that will push into the playoffs before long.
The part of the deal that Orlando likes obviously is getting cap space for this year, and getting some value for David Lee. This trade completely takes me out of the free agency market this year.

I am not happy with this deal but i accept none the less.
I wish i could have gotten more for lee to be honest, but the cap relief i get from this deal is HUGE and will allow me to resign and trade cp3. If you don't think this is fair, think of it as an ends justifies the means situation. After this is done, I turn my starting five of Yao, Lee (expiring), Melo, Stack, CP3 (expiring) into brook, jamison, melo, mayo, billups with some talented youth in cdr and chalmers on the bench.
Not to mention I should have some cap to play with for FA at the end of this as well due to the influx of youth

Sorry, just modified CDR's future salary...I had forgotten the Team Options.
Carry on, get them votes in.

Thanks to DET for the compliment, and thanks to all the staff for their opinions that I won the trade.
I do think long-term I win this deal, but I also completely take myself out of Free Agency this year.
Anyway, looks like this is approved!
