The San Antonio Spurs take the risk of putting big time money into Gilbert Arenas because we feel as if he can help us out in the immediate future, but at the same time he's still relatively young.
It hurts to give up our first next year but when it's said and done I think making a run at the playoffs is always what's best for an organization.
We may not win it all, but we will certainly make it exciting.

if it wasn't for the first i'd reject but crawford and that first are enough for me to accept this. arenas has some hard times comin for these gun charges and who knows if he will ever return to elite form, not to mention he is crazy overpriced

While I disagree on Gilbert being crazy overpriced, I do agree that he does have some questions. I think he'll come back to playing good ball again before too long (sometime next year probably?), and he still has elite talent IMO. But yea, Crawford and a 1st will work for me, with the ?'s Arenas has.
Accept.
