Morris Peterson future?"There is still hope" said Chris Bosh today but around the Toronto Raptors locker room today was very glommy. The Toronto Raptors are having a awful season this year and are hoping that New GM of the Toronto Raptors can help this team be a playoff team in the season 2007/2008. The GM of the Toronto Raptors have been watching the play of his players and to see who will be going and leaving. The Free Agents for this year, are the following Morris Peterson Darrick Martin Pape Sow Uros Slokar Of what i heard from the locker room is that Darrick Martin, Pape Sow, and Uros Slokar will NOT be returning for next year. The question now is all about Morris Peterson (longest serving raptor). IMO the Toronto Raptors may let him go, since they want to rebuild. The Raptors have a great Point Gaurd as in T.J Ford, great shooting gaurd, in Parker, but will try and fill in that Small Foward roll. The raptors have around 15 million to spend this off season on players. Watch for the raptors to make a big move for a big player. but the main question is, [glow=red,2,300] will MP3 (Morris Peterson) be back in T.O next year?[/glow]

Big Things to Happen This Off Season The Toronto Raptors have official been eliminated from the playoffs and are looking to re build. The Toronto Raptors organization has been though alot of issues this season and they finally got a GM who can stay with the team. We have a chance to talk to the GM to the raps today, and he said "its time to rebuild, i no we hate these words, but if we want to be a playoff team next year we need to get our act together. I can tell that some players don't even want to play in Toronto. In my defense i would like to say be gone to them, we will go out in the off season and get our self players who want to play in Canada." Then i asked him "what will happen in the off season" He said to me "We have around 15 million to spend. I can tell you right now we are NOT going to mess with These players right now will NOT be move as we speak, but the rest are going. We need to make space and we are losing 4 players to FA this year, and we are trying to get back one player Mo Pet, but i don't want to spend alot of money on him. If he picked to test the FA market, we will still try but mostly go after more players like him." Then i asked him one more question "who are some key players you see coming to Toronto next season" He said to me "We are going to try and get Jason Kupuno He is by far a great player and we will love to have him on the Toronto Raptors, and we are also going to try Lewis, Hill and some more players. But right now i don't no whats going to happen, all i can say all my picks are up for trades and i do believe my first rounder is going to be a high pick since the awful season we had this year and also looking to trade Nesterovic, Humphries , Dixon and Jackson. We wont trade them for a bag of chips of anything we will do what ever the best deal is" So overall the Toronto Raptors are looking to trade the first rounder in the 07 draft and also looking to trade players to re build this team. The Toronto Raptors have been official eliminated from the playoffs and the New GM of the Raps hope to get this team a top team in its division.

Done Deal? The Toronto Raptors are in negations with several teams in the NBA about the 7th or 8th pick in the 2007 Rookie draft. Reports are telling us that The Raptors may have found a deal in one of the teams. It's not official but it looks like Toronto Raptors are really close on pulling the trigger which a team. With the source we have we think it’s the Charlotte Bobcats or the Seattle Supersonics. We had a chance to talk to The Raps Gm today about this news that was going around, and he told us “Yes we are trading the first rounder no matter what. We like this draft class, but I do not like any of the players that might be left. Our deal is indeed with 1 of those 2 teams you have just talked about and I would have to say, I love this deal. It might be a shocker to some, but to others it might not even mean a thing. Toronto isn’t know for being a big basketball city, but I can tell you that our team will be improve” Some strong words said by the Raptors gm today around noon, but I had to ask a question, who was the player coming back? ”Well it is no K.G or Wade, but it’s a player I think can be a great player when he wants to be. I don’t want to say his name in public as yet, because there might be a few to fiddle with, so I will name 1 player from each which we are trying to get” On the Charlotte Bobcats we would have to say, Ricky Davis”. ”We really like Davis and hope to get him in Toronto. We know he wants to play in Toronto, and we want him in Toronto. Ricky is a great player, but has been on the move a lot. If we do get Ricky he would play the Small Forward role or Shooting Guard Roll” ”On the Seattle Supersonics we want Jason Terry. We love the way Terry has played, and think he could be MVP some time in his young career. Jason terry had a great season and the Seattle Supersonics really wants a lot for him and so really wants him, so we will try our best to get him. “ With the Toronto Raptors GM saying that the prime candidates for this first rounder are Jason Terry and Ricky Davis, some may have to say, Morris Peterson time in Toronto has come to an end. = No More of MP3?

In Today NewsThe Toronto Raptors and the Orlando Magic have made a trade. The NBA finals are stillgoing on, but it looks like the Raptors have traded their first rounder in 07 which is the number 7 pick. It looks like they got Small Foward Shane Battier in return. The Raps are also saying they are giving away 31 year old Jorge Garbajosa and his big contract to make room for Shane. "We love him, we think it would really help our team if he joins. Our team is not half bad, and since we are trading Jorge Garbajosa, we are now going to try and re-sign Morris Petterson to a new deal to keep him with the raptors. We never wanted to let him go, but the media likes to take stories way out of order. We want Mo back, and we will do what ever we can to keep him part of this team" said the gm of the Raptors. "I really have no clue where these rumors are coming from, i love Toronto, and i want to stay here. I no i may not have a starting postion on the team, but i will earn it. If the raptors add Shane Battier, they will be a better team, no question asked" said Mo today. So the Rumors of Jason Terry and Ricky Davis coming to Toronto all over? maybe, and will Mo re-sign? all this infmation will be answered at the end of the NBA finals.

Raps Get Corey?[/size][/b] Reports are saying the Toronto Raptors have made another off season move after a awful season in the 06/07. The raps already got Hinrich to play PG or SG, but The raptors wanted Hinrich to play PG. So the raps where forced to trade T.J ford and a first rounder in 08 to the Huoston for Corey Maggette. "Corey Maggette is a great Small Foward to play on our roster, and he also saves us 1 million in cap. He does become a UFA in two years, but we should have the money to re-sign him. We really love the way Corey Maggette plays the game. He was playing okay, on the Rockets, but since the Rockets did not have much help, i think Hinrich and Parker (and maybe mo Pet) will help Corey Maggette be a super star, and also helping would be bosh" said gm of the raps today I also asked him on the Morris Petterson subject, he told me " we are very close imo, i think Mo Pet could reuturn to Toronto, by the end of the week. The two sides are very close, and i am waiiting to see what his agent has to say. His agent told me he would be calling me in the next day or so, and i am waitting for that call" Around 5:00pm today, the deal was offical final, as the raptors have picked up vet, Corey Maggette for T.J ford as well as a first rounder in 08. Carlos Delfino moving up NorthToday the Toronto Raptors made a three way deal today. It was not a big three way deal, it was a just a trade. The Teams who where invloed in this deal where Toronto Raptors, San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves. The deal was first, Toronto trading their 08 2nd rounder draft pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves for 50, and 56 pick in 07 draft. A few minutes later, the raptors traded the 50, and 56 pick to the San Antonio Spurs for SG/SF Carlos Delfino. Carlos Delfino avg 3.3 point per game, but that did not stop Toronto GM by getting him. "IMO he was a steal for two picks which could be big bust in the NBA. There young yes, but there was no one i wanted, and i was in talks before with San Antonio Spurs in getting Carlos Delfino. He been on alot of great teams, Pistions and now Spurs, but as we are bulding this team to win, he will just make it better. He will be a great depth player and with him and Parker or Mo Pet coming off the bench, my team is looking very good right now" said GM of the raptors. " we are making some great moves right now, we have already got by far one of the best young point gaurd in the NBA right now Kirk Hinrich, and also picked up a great Small foward in Corey Maggette" said the gm I asked him what he was going to do tmr when FA will start. he told me "well right now we can spend up to 8 Million or so to get some players for depth. There is a player that i must get and i will spend alot for him. I do not want to say his name, but if i do get him, it will be a great pick up. There is not alot of great FA, as VC and so on where re-signed by there teams, and so i new i had to make some trades. My team has really impoved from last year, and i can not wait for the season to start all over again" once again the big story coming out of Toronto is that the Raptors have picked up Carlos Delfino from the Spurs in a three way deal. Mission Completed? Thats was the question surrounding this off season. Would the new GM of the raptors get the job done to make a playoff team? Who would he add? Well all i can say as a new writter that the Toronto Raptors should be a top contender in the East. The thing that really sucks for the raptors was the the 76ers made some amazing moves to make there team a whole much better, and same with the New Jersey Nets. "It wasnt what i was expecting for these teams to do. I new 76ers would do something, but no that much!. Same with the Nets, there team is amazing now, from the team they had from last year to this year it is amazing!!!!!" said the gm of the raptors The New Jersey nets added Star Players like Starbury, Ben Gordon, Josh Howard , Andres Nocioni and one of the best Centers in the game today Mehmet Okur. With thoese 5 additions, the Nets are on there way to the playoffs for sure. On the other hand look what the 76ers have done to there team. The 76ers added The best Power Foward in the game today Kevin Garnett, picked up Hakim Warrick, and Josh Smith. Thoese pick ups where amazing, and i heard they where very close on getting Camby and Bibby which would of killed the East, but lucky for the raptors, they did not get them. "Im not being mean or anything to the Knicks and Boston, but there re-bulding, and we need to win these games vs them. If we can not win games that we should win, there will be some chnages in the in season. I want my team to be in the playoffs not matter what!!!" said the Gm of the raptors The Toronto Raptors where making some noise before the Draft had started. The raptors made there very first trade in the young off season, as they picked Star Young Point Gaurd Krik Hinrich from the bulls. The raptors traded alot for this PG who did not have a good season in Atlanta, avg only 13 points per game. The raptors traded away Jorge Garbajosa, Joey Graham, Juan Dixon and there 7th pick in the 07 draft which became Yi Jianlian. This is what the raports gm had to say to this trade "It might of been stupid to trade for another PG, when we have three already, but when i picked up Hinrich, T.J Ford new he wanted to be traded. Hinrich could of played SG, but we wanted him in PG. The pick that we traded which was the 7th pick, and become Yi Jianlian , i new it would be him. My reason for trading the pick was, where was he going to play? I already have a beast thats 7 foot, and is playing Center Andrea Bargnani. So there was no need for him. So it worked out just fine for me and my team" That wasnt all of it, the Raptors now had a problem, Which PG would start teh games, Ford or Hinirch, well about a week later, the raptors and Rockets where in trade talks with Corey Maggette coming over to the raptors for T.J Ford and First rounder in 08. The raptors had already traded one first rounder, and now another one, the question in Toronto was, why are we giving up young players?? The raptors gm repsond "First rounder in 08, well if my team does good, do u think that pick will help this team at all? The Raptors are trying to win this season, and i will do what ever it takes. By adding Maggette to this team, its just made my Small Foawrd position so much better. I am happy that T.J ford can play somewhere eles, but i am really happy to see i am 2 for 2 before the off season starts, since i already picked up two key players" So right now the Raptors picked up two key players for a great season, picked up young pg Kirk Hinrich, Picked up Vet Corey Maggette and was trying to do more. The Raptors had a great Starting lineup, but the question was, will the raptors get some help in the bench? The Raptors started to think about Petterson coming back to Toronto. Yes he could of sign somewhere eles to play, but the Raptors wanted Petterson to come off the bench to help the team. The raptors took about 3 days to lock up Petterson to a 4 year deal worth 18 million. The Raptors now were happy to see number 24 coming back, but they needed more help down the road. Then the Raptors at Off season Fa, went out and got them selfs some help down the bench, picking up Jason Kapono from the heat, but from FA, picking up Bo Outlaw for help in Center / Power Foward, and Shammond Williams. The Raptors got a big help in the gaurd position by picking up Jumaine Jones. Also to top it all off the raptors made a three way deal to pick up SG/SF Carlos Delfino for a 2nd rounder "That was a dam steal, yes it was, Jumaine Jones for 2 million for 2 years, wow, i am happy to see him in Toronto, and hope he can help us down the road to be a great team. He is just want this team need to win games. These players might not be known to alot of peple around the NBA, but i have been watching, and there great players. The two FA i really like is Jumaine Jones and Jason Kapono" said the raptors gm The Toronto Raptors having a great Starting lineup coming into the season. At the Center role, there giving it to Andrea Bargnani, At the PF role, there giving it Star/ Captain Chris Bosh, at Small foward, coery Maggette, at SG, is still a question, either Petterson or Parker and in Point Gaurd, Kirk Hinrich. The season is coming very soon, and the raptors can not wait, the Fans have been waitting for years for something big to happen, and now it has happen. All we hope now is that the raptors can make the playoffs and try there best to go as far as possible. " Lets just hope that this season is the best season ever in raptors hisotry" said the gm of the raptors

Raptors Go Big and BIGGER The Toronto Raptors pulled of a blockbuster deal Saturday morning as they where part of 6 way deal, that’s right a 6 way deal was made by the Toronto Raptors (if you add the two trades made today) The teams that where involved where the following teams, Minnesota, Charlotte, Denver, Miami, New Orleans and the Toronto Raptors. This is how the trade broke down, the Toronto Raptors sent Larry Hughes, Charlie Villanueva, Andrea Bargnani, Jamal Crawford, and Gerald Green. They got back Jermaine O’Neal and Kenyon Martin. That’s right, they where former Raptors from last season. “Its funny, I traded Martin for Jermaine O'neal and now they are on the same team. I believe Jermaine O'neal has a lot of stuff left in him, when he was in Toronto he didn’t have a great center to work with, but now with him in center and Martin in PF, I think both of them will click and make a dynamic duo along side Carmelo, you guys better watch out” said the gm of the raptors. The 4 way deal included a record, 15 players, but it looks like the raptors lost more than they gain. “I am not worried at all, I worried last year about my bench and I traded Jermaine O'neal for depth players but I always regretted the deal, because I new Jermain was worth a lot more.” “We struggle last year because we didn’t have a solid front court, and now we have a top 5 front court in the whole league with this trade. With free agency coming up, I will be very active to fine a SG to play with my PG Kirk. If I can land a Starbury and Davis, I can see this team going pass the first round, hands down” said the gm. The Raptors needs to fine a shooting guard ASAP, or they will have a weird looking lineup. So far the GM has made a funny move; they traded half the roster for a few players. Could it be a smart move, or could if be a dumb move, they also picked up bad contracts but good players; this will be fun to watch. Raptors Trade Star for Stars’SGreat day for the Toronto Raptors today, as they added two great players in Jermaine O'Neal and Kenyon Martin. Before I talk about the 2nd deal made today, there was a big rumor going around about the Toronto Raptors wanted to deal All Star, Carmelo Anthony. A lot of people in Toronto where shocked when they heard the news, but they where even more shocked when the deal was final. The Toronto Raptors and the Phoenix Suns made a blockbuster deal. They traded away All Star Carmelo Anthony to the Suns for Danny Granger, Mikki Moore, 1st rounder in 09 and also draft rights to O.J Mayo. “Its hard to trade Carmelo Anthony, after all he is done for this team, I think it was time to let him go. He didn’t fare to good with the team last year, and we wanted him to avg around 20 point per game, but he was no where near that amount. I think this deal is better for both teams. Yes Lebron and Carmelo Anthony are on the same team but I really don’t mind, where would Carmelo Anthony play, SG? I’m sure they will fine a fit for him but with this deal we got better in a lot of sports. 1. Younger, 2. Cap Space, and 3. We filled up our starting lineup!” said the gm of the Raptors. “The fans need to hear me out on this; O.J Mayo is going to be amazing, hands down. He will be a great player in the NBA, and with Jermaine O'Neal on this team and Martin, they will help the young man to grow up. We also got Granger, who is by far a much underrated player in the NBA. I think him at Small Forward, will also help our team. Don’t get me wrong, he is no Carmelo Anthony, but I think I rather have two stars than one” said the gm after first point. “With this trade, we have around 10 million in the off season, and that is great. After all I started off with 1 million in cap, and got to 10 million! I think if I play my cards right, players like Star bury and Davis will fit wonderful in my lineup. Will they play a lot? Maybe not, but they will still be key assets to the Raptors” said the gm after the 2nd point. “Now look at our team, Kirk Hinrich - Mayo- Danny Granger- Kenyon Martin- Jermaine O'Neal. Boy I am excited to start the season already. We may not be as good as Orlando or New Jersey but I think our team will be there one day. It would be nice to go pass the 1st round this year and if we do, our goal has been accomplished. I think our team is way better than before and the best thing is we are young!” The Raptors may have traded away Carmelo Anthony, but they got 2 GREAT players in return, so Toronto Fans, cheer up, it looks like the GM has some more plans coming up. “Let’s just say I am not even close to be finish trading with teams” said the gm. Raptors Get Former 4th overall pick in the 1998 Draft BACK!
The Toronto Raptors have welcome back former Raptor Antawn Jamison as they made it official today signing the vet to a 5 year deal worth around 84 million dollars. The Raptors organization was very excited when they got the phone call around 9:00pm saying that Antawn Jamison picked the Raptors over Boston Celtics. Antawn Jamison spend last year with Phoenix, posting up 13 points per game with 7 rebounds. “Today is a great day for Raptors fans around the world, we got the best Free Agent out there, and now we have a great team to go into next season. We have always been a fan of Antawn Jamison work. Ever since the 1998 draft we loved him but to bad he never got a chance to play a game with us. This time for sure, he will play more than 0 games with the Raptors” said the GM of the Raptors. “One: I would like to say thank you to the Raptors origination for bringing me back to Toronto, I always wanted to play here but I never got a chance and 2: I want to thank all the teams who were interest in me. The reason why I came back to Toronto was because the interest the GM has showed toward me. Also it had to do with the team the Raptors have this year. The Raptors have a great young and also veteran team from Baron Davis to O’Neal. This showed me right away ‘they wanted to win’ which was a good sign in my eyes. People might think I’m crazy for not taking more money but at my age, playing in the NBA gets shorter and shorter every year. If the raptors win with in the next 3 years, I will likely retire. All I wanted to do was win the Championship with one team before I leave the NBA, and I think the Raptors have a team that can compete for it, hell they could even go to the Finals. This season will be fun to play and watch if you are a raptor fan.” Said Antawn Jamison
