I'll agree to this. I get my franchise player to build around.

We can't do trades until after the team options period, check the off-season schedule.

I thought we could trade, and I think we should be able to if we're not.. It's pretty boring around here for non playoff teams.

Yea, cant trade yet. I know the non-playoff teams are bored and dont have much to do this time of year, but its just the way its been forever. Soon enough.
And Indy, you might want to get acclimated with how we run things around here before you start trading. Ratings go up at the end of the year and Rondo will be a 82-83, not a 75. And Murphy will be a 76-77. And the 1st round pick you are getting back might be 3rd overall with a rating of 75. In a pretty crappy draft, that's not worth much.
This trade would have been rejected even if trading was open. Its terrible.

For what i read i thought only Marc Gasol was going to have a big boost and Rondo and Muprhy would stay pretty much the same, lol. No wonder why i have been receiving tons of offers since i posted this trade.

They are lower than they have ever been across the board. Rondo is a much better all around point guard than Nash. Rondo was averaging a triple-double last year in the Chicago series. When's the last time Nash even sniffed a triple-double?

What Nash lacks in rebounding he makes up in playmaking, shooting and leadership.

Rondo is playing more minutes than Nash this year and is fouling less, turning the ball over less, getting two more steals a game than Nash, rebounding more, and shooting better from the field.
Those 6 ppg and 1.5 apg more that Nash gets must make him >>>>> Rondo.
I'm not saying I'd rather have Rondo than Nash but in a sim league they are a lot closer than people think.

Those 6 ppg and 1.5 apg more that Nash gets must make him >>>>> Rondo. I'm not saying I'd rather have Rondo than Nash but in a sim league they are a lot closer than people think. Rondo averages .8 minutes more per game and shoots 0.06% better from the field, so those numbers are about as even as they can be. He also only averages about 1 rebound a game more than Nash, so not like he is blowing him away there. I don't know where you got your numbers from, but Nash is averaging 1.0 fouls per game and Rondo is averaging 2.8 Nobody would debate that Rondo is a better defender, but Rondo is nowhere near the all around offensive player that Nash is. Rondo has made 28 3 point shots in 259 career games, Nash has made 40 in 28 games this season. As far as the turnovers go, the whole Suns offense revolves around Nash, he is the one who makes the plays for himself and everybody else. You can't say the same for Rondo, he has nowhere near the same responsibilities as Nash does, so of course Nash would have a few more turnovers a game. Nash >>>>> Rondo, easily.

saying they are closer doesn't justify the 9 rating point differences in 2k10 lol.. it is still absurd. Chris Bosh is like an 84. And Bargnani is a 69. They jacked up all the ratings on the elite teams.
