I'm going with Detroit on this one, although the HOU first rounder may not be a top 3 pick anymore, but he still a top 8 first rounder and a mid first, not to mention cap relief to re-sign D12. All for a player he was gonna lose for nothing anyways. I think it's pretty well known Smith is a sim bust (traded 6 times in the past 2 seasons?). Houston could have gotten more for those two first rounders, plus go after Smith in FA since Detroit wouldn't have been able to re-sign him. Just my thoughts

Going with Detroit on this one as well. A top 5 pick at this point would still be marginally better than Smith due to his sub-par sim play. And then you add in a mid-round 1st.
