AP- Just after the Pistons advanced to the ECF to play Orlando word came out that there is a possible deal brewing that could affect the team in a major way. Sources say the Pistons have been having talks with the Bulls for about a week and they finally came to a deal this morning. The deal would apperently send T.J. Ford who is unhappy being the 6th man and wants to be a starter along with Morris Peterson and one other player who sources could no get there hands on for the #7 pick in the draft along with a undisclosed draft pick this year also. Detroit would also recieve Willie Green and 2 other players who Chicago insisted on Detroit taking if they wanted to get a deal done. It said they have contracts in the range from 2 million dollars - 4 million dollars. T.J. Ford was asked about the rumor after the game and he only had this to say, "I could care less about trade talk, all i care about is winning a championship with the Detroit Pistons." The Chicago GM said he was not denying that him and the Detroit GM have had talks but he said until the offseason i am going to keep all options available. Sources have also indicated that Detroti is eying players such as Eric Gordon, Kevin Love, Brook Lopez, and Russel Westbrook with the 7th pick. Detroit is also rumored to already be in talks with there star Dwight Howard and a new contract, obviously they will gain some major cap sapce if this deal goes through.

AP-Well first it was Chiacgo who the Detroit GM decided to make a big deal with. Now its another divison rival who he has decided to make his next trading partner. Sources around the NBA have said that a team within the divison contacted Detroit about the #8 pick, they started talking and before you knew it had a deal done, but the 8th pick was just a small part of the deal. Rumor has it that Detroit would send one of the pistons best players(name was not released), Rasheed Wallace, #8 pick, and other players and picks whos names could not be figured out. Now the question is who was the other big name player? Richardson, Billups, Howard??? Also what would the Pistons be getting in return you ask your self? Well how about two of the biggest stars in the divison? Thats right Detroit has pulled in two big name stars, but unfortunently us here at the Detroit News were not able to figure out who the two stars were. One thing we do know though, the trade is either with Indy, Cleveland, or Milwaukee.
Stay tuned

and just to let everyone know, our division is the toughest in the league. Thats pretty much obvious...MIL/DET/CLE have great roster...Indy is also good and Chicago might start improving... scary division

The NW division has been weak for awhile. Last year Minny won with a .500 record, started getting better this year though. ;D

Miami is a solid team now though, not gonna be nearly as easy to clinch that division title with 18 games left or w.e absurd thing i did this year

Breaking News: This just in from the "Source" NewsDesk, Cleveland has just backed out of the trade that would of sent Elton Brand and Caron Butler to the Pistons. The Detroit GM was quoted saying, "I should of known this was going to happen, I knew he was a GM i couldn't trust." He also went on to say, "I really think this is going to hurt his rep around the league." So now this leaves the Pistons in a tough situation, they had there off-season plans ready to go and now there is going to have to be a lot of re-thinking done on Detroit's side. It's still said that Detroit is shoping Billups and Sheed around, but they may still be in a Pistons uniform by the time the 1st game rolls around. Also a developing story going on is that T.J. Ford could still be in a Pistons uniform, we have been informed from a league source that Detroit has asked Chicago if he could back out of the deal now sense Cleveland backed out of the deal that would of gave the Pistons the starting 5 they wanted, but If Chicago says he still wants the deal to happen, Detroit will go through with it because unlike 2 other teams in the divison that like to back out(Cleveland and Indiana) he will stay true to his word sense he agreed to do the deal with Chicago. Well until we get some more info this is The Mouth of Mo-Town signing off.

Teams have every right to change their mind. I know it is frustrating to think you have a deal done, and then they back out. However, I personally don't see anything wrong with it.
