It is rumored that now Luke Ridnour is out for atleast 2 months the blazers are looking for a backup PG to speedy claxton or better yet a blockbuster trade for a PG?

The Blazers GM said "Right now we just beat the league leading suns so it doesnt feel like we need a backup PG right away, but when the time comes, i expect offers from other clubs wanting to do potential trades".
We have also heard that the Blazers GM is reluctant to do trades now days, is there a particular reason why?
"I wont pull the trigger for the sake of making a trade for a superstar or to make my team look better, id rather have randolph and lewis with a core of roy aldridge ridnour and magloire then have bryand and garnett with no role players at all"
The Blazers Gm said, "dont pull back from offering trades because it doesnt mean i will say no, i have done trades in the past, including the claxton trade and the lewis trade so i wont be like the suns GM and not pull the trigger on anything at all"
