I accept, Dwight Howard is a special player but this is one deal that is just too good to pass up. Derick Rose is one hell of a player dude has the entire package, Deng has the potential to be great and Andris is a solid big man which play defence and rebound. This deal gives me an upgrade at pg,sf, and give me a solid starting five with a good bench. Rose,Gordon,Deng,Andrea,Andris...Bayless,mason jr,barnes, perkins is a lot better than my current team. Feel that deal gives me a lot of option which could get me into contention soon. Plus next season will have the core with tons of cap.

I hated to part with Deng, but he just wasn't performing to his potential OR his salary. I like the guy a ton, but changes need to be made and a high lotto pick this season, along with 10+ mil in expiring cap, with another potential lotto pick next year is a decent offer to shed 11mil in salary.
I accept.

I accept, and this is the reason why I stock picks and cap space...for deals like this. I did lost about 9 M in cap space...but I have a little time before the deadline to get back above 20 (I'm at 16.8 right now, shouldn't be that tough.) I lost one of my lottery picks, but looking to the positive, I get a good young PG to replace Rose in Farmar. I'd had been thinking about trading Rose for a while for a # for reason, #1 being some of the top FA prospects are PG's (Bdiddy, Paul, Deron etc.) and this will allow me to be able to sign one of them if they become a FA (please note this Player Agent.) #2 OKC said Rpse wasn't 100% getting a boast, so that was a little scary on my part. Obviously the big piece in this deal to me is D12, who is the best center in the league and I FINALLY get to team up with the man that cost me a RR championship. The new front line of Prince/Harrington/D12 is pretty sick, back court of Farmar and Mobley isn't terrible either. I think overall this was a good move, espeically if Rose doesn't go up (Biedrins will like an 80, and if that pick isn't Griffin (which it probably won't be) it isn't worth much. Good deal for SAC, he gets 2 picks and $11,500,000 in cap space...and DEN gets two young talented players. Good luck to both teams, and welcome Dwight back to the East and thank god you aren't wearing an Magic uni

1st off, I'm going to put a freeze on approving trades until the all-star break is complete. I don't want players involved in all-star weekend being traded. So you can post trades and they can be voted on, I just wont be approving them until all-star weekend is over.
As for the trade, i'm going to digest it and vote tomorrow. There is a lot going on.

I accept, Denver isn't doing to good as he is only 14 and 34 with Dwight Howard and with this he gets a chance to have a more complete team that will be able to win for years in the future, Charlotte does give up a lot of players but he still has some good talent around D12 (and some picks to makes some trades to make his starting 5 even better during the off season) and as the Kings have said Loul hasn't lived up to his contract so he gets payers in return (like an Eddie Jones) that can help win next year if he chooses to keep him along with some cap space and what is probably a lock for a lottery pick in Denvers '09 1st.

I will not vote on this trade unless need be because I don't want to be accused of screwing this up...but i dont like it for SAC in the least! I think he is trading his best player for a lottery pick in a draft that is 1-3 players deep.

I don't know if you have ever talked to the Clippers, but he wants to make Deng like a 65....I know it won't happen but there some of you on the staff that HATE Deng. Wouldn't shock me if he was rated a 75, and he gets his contract off the book ($13,500,000 next year) and a Top 10 Pick at least. I'm not accusing you of anything and respect your decision, but just thought I'd make the point.

U guys can hate deng all u want...i even hate his ass but facts are he was rated when he scored 18,7 and 17,6. His numbers are good but anyone can;t see the potential in him is blind. The man is 23 he will be sick one day.

Well I'm glad you are in charge, I agree with you but there are some that would call for him to be a 75 is all I'm saying. He's gonna go down, he has a crappy contract, SAC clears some nice cap space and gets a lottery pick...If it was me I'd much rather have that pick than Deng at the price he is at...just me though. Denver has a lot of potential now but he's acutally worse now imo (and rating wise.)

I accept. I don't really like it for Sacramento either, but who knows what the cap space could do, and it's not like Deng is cheap.

I still reject even tho i understand that deng isnt necessarily an 81 player..but he was still SAC's best player and imo, he just traded him for nothing. maybe a B-list FA sign and a high 60's rookie. CLE's pick is worthless and will be mid first round, expirings dont really help him besides signing a B-list FA because no one A-list will want to wallow away in the cess pool that is SAC.
so i reject, sorry guys, but if it weren't for SAC id say its fair, even tho i didnt get D12

Deng goes down to a 78, SAC gets a 70 rookie and signs a 70 rated FA (that seems more than reasonable to me.) He would then have traded Deng for sure one (if not two) younger and much cheaper players. I just don't see how you can say a lottery pick "is a 60ish player" and it's not like DEN got any better (if anything he got worse this year.) And it is possible with how close the East is that CLE will be in the lottery next year, if you look at his roster Brand, Hughes, Miller, Allen...that's a lot of old guys.

CHA, its been well documented that outside of the top 3 or 4 picks, this is one of the weakest drafts in history. You wont find a Jason Thompson at the 13th pick this year. Rookie ratings are going to suffer due to poor talent coming in.
So I see where Orlando is coming from. High 60's is highly likely with Denver's pick. Especially with Denver improving talent wise now. Dont be surprised if Denver goes .500 the rest of the season.
