It's official! JO, Moon for Marion, Banks! sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3905146Don't know how I feel about this as a Raps fan. Miami obviously gets a great deal not only dumping Banks nasty contract but also frees up 21M for 2010 with JO coming off the books. They also get a much needed post presence in JO who's been great when healthy this year. Definitely a good deal for the Heat. It was obvious JO, Bargs and Bosh wasn't gonna work out and know we can give Bargs consistent minutes plus we get that slashing, rebounding wing man we've been lacking since forever. Sucks we have to take on Banks but he's a good defender which is something we need. Pretty excited to see Marion in the lineup but this could potentially hurt us in the long run if Marion doesn't re-sign.

I really like Banks, not sure why he hasn't worked out but maybe things will change? It's a good deal for both teams, Beasley and Hasslem can go to more natural position at the 3 and 4. J.O. at the 5, with Dwade and Chalmers. If Chalmers keeps developing look out!
For TOR, Marion/Bosh/Bargs is a sick run n gun front line. Calderon can run the show, and I'm not sure of there roster but I'm sure they have a decent 2 guard (Parker?)
I think for now TOR got the better deal, but if MIA lands a big FA look out.

I like it more for Miami. They shed Banks' contract that runs into 2010, and get Moon. All while getting a nice big man in JO, who will help out Wade more than Marion did. Toronto gets a SF to allow Bargs to move up front.

I'm happy with got rid of Moon though, hasn't lived up his play from last year. Moon was probably the most frustrating Raptor to watch, with all his athleticism he could've been the slasher we needed instead he'd chuck up 3 after 3. Not to mention his D is overrated, he falls for every pump fake.
