Im going to have to reject, My opinion my differ from others but this is how I see it
Carter=Wade in sims. IRL Wade is better but I dont see a boost increase and dont see Carter going down anytime soon putting up 22, 4, and 4.
Artest=Smith. If it weren't for Artest expiring he would have the advantage, beacuase we all know Smith is not a good sim player.
Okafor>Kover,Gallinari. This one isn't even close. Gallinari hasn't even played for the knicks yet and Korver is a good 3 point shooter but still thats about it. Okafor was the #2 pick in the draft and he is worth alot more than this.
I Reject.

This is a one of those trades that I'd accept for a Milwaukee GM that has been here awhile. A freshly new GM? I reject. Sort of an intangible for me since Phoenix makes off bandit-like in the deal.

This is a tough one. Here's how I see it;
Ratings aside, Vince & Okafor = D Wade, Korver & Gallinari....
J Smoove & Flip Murray = Ron Artest.
McCarty is just a throw in and has no value to this trade.
The only player I see going down a few points in rating at the end of the season is Okafor. All the other players involved in this trade are playing up to their rating. Wade of course, is playing at an MVP level. The dilemma a lot of you are having is the comparison between real life and sim league. Its a hard balance to find sometimes, especially with a guy like D-Wade who does not put up the same numbers in sim leagues as he does IRL. Sometimes you have to look past that and value a player by who they are IRL.
As for Utah's arguement, I agree with that most of the time, but with this trade Milwaukee is in a better situation, if in fact a new GM would have to be found, IMO. A combo of D-Wade and Josh Smith is a lot more attractive than Vince Carter and Ron Artest.
Ill accept this trade.

OKC's answer answers my question about how we treat trades like this and if we can look past the sim league implications of this trade, i think u get good value on both sides for the talent IRL. I do however side with DET and UTA that Wade is overrated to the max in sim leagues. So as tough as this is, I will actually accept but under the notion that MIL will be under a careful watch to make sure the team doesnt slip, but like OKC said, with a lineup that still has oden, wade, smith and parker...its tough to criticize

I accept this too, IMO Phoenix could have gotten more for the youth he’s giving away but he does get 3 proven players back for the value of two. Milwaukee gets two studs IRL plus Gallinari who can turn out to be a stud himself.
