I accept this deal. First off, yes, I realize that I am getting back the two players that I dealt at the BEGINNING of the offseason. However, here is my reasoning, I need a legit PF. Marion can be that guy WAY more than Rashard could. I need a good (borderline great when he plays for me) scoring SG more than I need a great PG right now so I accept the fact that I am losing THE Deron Williams. Leon Powe...solid bench big for me and Desmond Mason can absolutely play some great bench 6th man for me in Q's place. Both Marion and Deron are expiring...no love lost there. And I get extra player in Crawford so I don't need to get a garbage FA for 500k.
Please look at more than just Deron being Deron and look at team needs...which for me is a legit, do-it-all PF and a scoring SG. I can play Alston now at PG and have similar style of play to my EC Champion team from last year. And my FINAL point, look at how i improved the team. Chandler/Al/Marion/Terry/Jameer to YAO!/Marion/RJ/Terry/Alston with a respectable bench still.
