Offer: $8,500,000 for 5 years
Year 1 = 700,000 Year 2 = 1,200,000 [blue]Year 3 = 1,700,000[/blue] Year 4 = 2,200,000 Year 5 = 2,700,000
Total Salaries:
Year 1 =68,754,560 Year 2=38,934,380 Year 3 =24,336,260 Year 4 =2,700,000 Year 5 = 5,200,000
Franchise would come to a championship contender, he would be our back up PG/SG and he is our 2nd priority with JWill since that we need a good backup PG/SG... we add a PO in case that he wants to search for a different deal in the future

Steve likes your offer NJ but will hold out at least 24 more hours just in case another offer surfaces

We feel Philly would be the better fit for Steve, he would get a lot more minutes playing here than in NJN. In Philly he will be backing up Raja Bell but in NJ he'd be backing up VC. With more PT in Philly he has a better chance of revitalizing his career and if he does he can opt out for greener pastures.

Not really...actually I wanted him to backup Nash since that he is a PG/SG so he can backup Nash AND VC...so he will feel comfortable here in NJ

Fair enough, however in Philly Steve won't have to play any PG and will play in his natural position of SG.

If NJ were to offer a one million dollar starting contract in his first year and another player option to mimic PHI's contract then he would be persuaded to join such a strong title contender. If NJ does not agree to these requests then Steve will join the 76ers in the hopes for more playing time behind Raja Bell
