08/09 - $83,048,938 09/10 - $28,842,294 10/11 - $18,012,823 Priority#2 behind Finley Though our point guard position may seem crowded, one of Duhon or Williams might play as the main backup SG. We feel Jason still has some gas left in the tank and would be a huge boost off the bench.

The Los Angeles Lakers would like to offer Jason Williams a 5 year deal for 10 million dollars (VIA THE USE OF MLE, I still have 2 mil remaining as I used ONLY 3 mil on Vujacic.)
(VIA USE OF THE MLE)
Year 1: 1,200,000 year 2: 1,600,000 year 3: 2,000,000 year 4: 2,400,000 year 5: 2,800,000
PLAYER OPTION
2008-09 - $74,737,885 2009-10 - $46,034,375 2010-11 - $27,806,250 2011-12 - $3,000,000 2012-13 - $3,000,000
We would like Jason Williams to come to the Lakers as a back-up PG /SG to this team, we would like to give him a chance to be a candidate for 6th man of the year coming off the bench, with this team Jason Williams can maximize his career and get better numbers, also if he feels he has re-proven himself and wants re-energize his career again he has 2 player options in the end of his contract to do it with.
