Seattle: We definately feel that my client is worth more than the minimum, but appreciate your interest.
Philly: My client and I were wondering what kind of role he will be playing with your club. Please elaborate. Obviously we are expecting more offers to roll in, so this extra info will possibly help us make a decision.

Michael will be competing with Raja Bell for the starting SG spot and possibly the SF spot also. We feel Michael is a savvy yet who can help us in our quest for a championship

We are dissapointed that more offers have not come in yet.
As it stands now, my client would likes the idea of a starting job better than a few more million dollars over the years. Also, we would like a player option in Year 3 of any contract we sign.
If nothing else comes up, we will make a decision tomorow.

what if I told you he would be the guaranteed starter at SF for as long as he was on my team (not sure how long that would be, but at least till DEC 15th). I have a trade lined up that would send anthony parker out of town once this offer is accepted.

Well if that was the case, then Michael would be more inclined to return to your team than to fight for a job in Philly

Well, now the tides have turned and we are leaning towards OKC
We will let Philly make a case for Finley though, before signing to the Thunder

We'd like to wish Michael the best of luck in OKC. As much as we'd love to sign Michael we just don't have the resources to sign him.

Michael would like a player option in years 2 and 3 from OKC, and then he will sign with your team
