The Celtics would like to offer Antawn a contract of 5 years and $86,000,000. We feel like Antawn can be the final piece of the re-building job here in Boston. He can team up with a young starting 5 of Jose Calderon, Joe Johnson, Kevin Durant, and Nene. We also have a good deep bench to go along with what could be a very good starting 5 with Jamison.
Year 1- $14,000,000 Year 2- $16,000,000 Year 3- $19,000,000 (player option) Year 4- $19,000,000 Year 5- $18,000,000 (player option)
2008-09- $69,578,281 2009-10- $72,862,096 2010-11- $52,993,770 2011-12- $40,600,000 2012-13- $18,000,000

The Atlanta Hawks would like to offer Mr. Jamison...
Year 1 - $12,000,000 Year 2 - $14,000,000 Year 3 - $16,000,000 Year 4 - $18,000,000 Year 5 - $20,000,000
Team Salary Year 1: $60,752,909 Team Salary Year 2: $48,278,518 Team Salary Year 3: $39,100,000 Team Salary Year 4: $33,000,000 Team Salary Year 5: $20,000,000
$80,000,000 over 5 years.
We feel Mr. Jamison is the final piece needed for the Hawks to reach the playoffs. He would be teamed with ROY Al Horford and the more recently acquired Mike Miller and Leandro Barbosa. He would be the unquestioned captain and have an even better opportunity to make the all star team since he should lead this team in rebounding and scoring.

The San Antonio Spurs would like to throw out an offer to Mr. Jamison and offer him a 5 Year 88.5 Million Dollar Deal.
Year 1: $16,000,000 Year 2: 16,500,000 Year 3: 17,500,000 Year 4: 18,500,000 Year 5: 20,000,000
Team Salary: Year 1 before contract offer: $48,246,492 Years 2-5 we have A LOT of cap space to make sure we can support this offer.
Now to why we're offering such a high contract for a talented player like Jamison. We feel that Jamison being paired with Andrew Bogut could be one of the top front courts in the league and provide us with a talented duo to work with. Jamison could help push this team closer to a playoff run and allow a team some veteran experience. We're a very young team and we feel that Jamison could potentially provide us the leadership to push this team very close to a playoff run with the addition of a true shooting guard. We'll be looking to add a bunch of players if we are able to obtain Mr. Jamison and we have the picks to be able to do it. Mr. Jamison should be excited to see the team that he is working with being so young. He will have a lot of talented young players around him to build up. He's only 31 years of age and we feel that he could be the spark that sends this team further into our playoff hunt.

We appreciate all of your offers, but please understand that my client is 32 years old. Antwan has been in the league for a long time, and has only made the playoffs 5 years. Of those 5 years, he has only been out of the 1st round once.
So, to tell you the truth, we would really like to get him on a playoff team. Obviously money is playing a big part in his decision though, so right now he likes San Antonio the most. But, honestly, he is looking for a playoff team, even if they cant offer quite that much.
Please understand that this does not mean that my client will not sign to any of your teams, but we are expecting some offers from playoff teams, and would rather sign with them if the money is about the same.

Antawn Jamison – 83 - SF The Toronto Raptors would like to offer Antawn Jamison a 5 year deal 83,253,158.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Antawn Jamison Salary
Year 1: 14,853,185 Year 2: 14,900,000 Year 3: 16,500,000 Year 4: 18,500,000 Year 5: 18,500,000
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Toronto Raptors Salary Chart
2009: 70,000,000 2010: 50,395,774 2011: 17,542,000 2012: 20,256,346 2013: 18,500,000
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our Current Lineup with Antawn Jamison Baron Davis O.J. Mayo Antawn Jamison Jermaine O’Neal Zydrunas Ilgauskas ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Explanation The Toronto Raptors understand that our offer may not be one the best offers Antawn Jamison gets this year, but I have to try. The reason why I offered Antawn Jamison this contract is because 1. He will be the number one SF on the team, and 2. He can leave in his contract in the 4th year. No offence to the teams that offer Antawn Jamison a contract, but we believe we have a better than all of them, and we think we can win it all if we can get his services. Just think Baron Davis - Antawn Jamison – Jermaine O’Neal, can it get any better? We may not be able to play you 16 - 18 million every year but I can guaranteed that your client will be in a team where the team will be in the playoffs and also be a happy man. We really would love Jamison to be part of your team, he’s what we need and is the major reason on why we traded Kenyon Martin (so we can free up some cap space). If Antawn Jamison will like The Raptors to add something to his contract we will gladly do so, please let us know. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have modified our offer to 5 years and $86,000,000. We feel that Boston is the perfect place for Jamison to get paid, win now, and win in the later years of his contract. A group of Jose Calderon, Joe Johnson, Kevin Durant, Antawn Jamison, and Nene is a young group that can grow together and be very successful over the duration of the contract.

After some discussions with my client, we have come to a decision that we are not interested in playing for either Atlanta or San Antonio. We would like to thank both organizations for showing interest, but if we can get the same money from a playoff team, then we are going to do that.
As for Boston and Toronto, we are still deliberating as to which team we like more. Boston has a solid group of late-20s players with a proven SF in Kevin Durant, and also offers more money than Toronto. Toronto provides a great PG and a great frontcourt, any my client would be extremely happy playing alongside Jermaine O'Neal. But, OJ Mayo is still unproven and the money is slightly lower.
We will be waiting at least one more day to make a decision, and possibly more if more offers keep rolling in.

Well, its been a while since the last offer, and it looks like this is all thats we are gonna get
With that being said, my client has decided to sign to the [purple]Toronto Raptors[/purple]
We feel that both Boston and Toronto would have been good choices, but Toronto is more in place to win a championship now, whereas Boston still relies on developing players in Calderon and Durant. Also, Jamison was much more interested in playing the 3 alongside Jermaine and Z than playing the 4 in a frontcourt with Nene.
We thank both teams for their participation, and we look forward to joining the Raptors!
