The suns offer a 4 year 44 million dollar extension:
Year 1: 11 million Year 2: 11 million Year 3: 11 million Year 4: 11 million
We feel this is around what he got in real life and he can get paid now and as he gets older the pay goes down so we can surround him and LBJ and Melo with other players. The Big 3 of Lebron Carmelo and Jamison will be the best in the league and we love Antwans leadership he brings. And he stays on a playoff team. Team Salary after extension: $69,756,176
and under the cap and on top of that we get cap next year to get another player to surround our big 3

I am sorry, but Antawn believes that despite his aging physique, he deserves more FA money; especially in a year when so many other teams can offer bigger contracts. At the very least he would like a player option in the last year, just in case the worst happens and he hasn't won a ring and would like a higher overall and first year salary.
Antawn does however, enjoy Phoenix and the possibility of playing alongside both Lebron and Melo and is therefore, allowing the Phoenix GM a 3 day period ending at 12:00 AM EST on August 31st for the team to clear more cap for the first year offer and beyond.

We offer 4 years 50 million
Year 1: 11 million Year 2: 13 million Year 3: 14 million Year 4: 12 million Player Option
We feel with the way the team is going we can give more money in the upcoming years and he should be happy. This is the same amount as in the pm and the money jamison got with the wizards. Him and Al Jefferson would be a great front court and this team will do damage with Nelson Stevenson Melo Jamison Jefferson. We hope he decides to sign. Our cap situation is the same and once the trade is complete we will be good. Because we will loose equal value with Lebron and Q-richa and Alston so no worries. We really hope jamison stays.

As I am now partial to this signing and can no longer be unbiased, I will be relinquishing my player agent duties of Antawn Jamison to another agent. I think this is the fairest way to proceed and a new decision will be made in the coming days.

My client is a bit confused and would not be interested in playing in a crowded frontcourt of Jamison-Jefferson-Miller. We would like to know what you plan to do to ensure that my client gets the playtime that he wants on your roster. Also, it seems that you are trying to rebuild your team or something, and my client is not sure that he wants to sign a long-term contract for a team that has no intentions of competing for a championship for the next few years. Please elaborate on your plans for us.

We have made a deal to trade Miller for a new Center and plan on putting Jamison back at SF where he played on GSW and had his best years and plan to put melo at SG. We feel Jamison will also not have the wear and tear on checking bigger players anymore. So with our new trade Nelson Melo Jamison Big AL and Curry will be a formitable lineup and with Stackhouse and Stevenson off the bench this team has the depth now to make a run and everyone signed for a while so the team wont break up. Jamison will compete for championships no problem. This team is ready.

Although we feel that your lineup is significantly worse than last season, the Suns still present a nice opportunity for my client. But, we have another concern with cap space. Ideally, my client would like a 4 year/50-55 mil deal. But, we are concerned with what that leaves you to sign Nelson and Jefferson. We realize that the trade cannot go through if you do not have the space to sign them, but we just want to make sure you know what you are doing and that my client will not be walking into a situation that is shaky.

We know what we are doing as we in the trade will be even and actually after all the signings we will be savin one mil total so it is no problem and we feel this starting lineup is not better but the bench is 100 times better.... we actually now have depth instead of mikki moore and a bunch of players not even in the nba anymore.

Also once the trade goes thru our cap will be back to normal meaning we have the money so cap is not an issue and we feel this team overall will be better and younger and signed all together for years and even with jamison maybe declining other players will get better and pick up his slack and we have Carmelo Anthony as our superstar to lead the team with allstars supporting him.

It is my understanding the your lineup will be Nelson-Carmelo-Jamison-Jefferson-Curry. My client would be pleased to go to this lineup, but would want to wait until the sign and trade is completed to sign his contract, just to make sure we know what situation we are walking into.
This is a contract worth slightly more than what you were offering earlier, but we like it much better for my client.
4 Years, $54,000,000
Year 1: $13,000,000 Year 2: $13,000,000 Year 3: [blue]$14,000,000[/blue] Year 4: $14,000,000

What is your lineup going to look like now that the trade is complete? Also, do you have any other plans for your team? Just some final things we would like to know before we sign

We actually don't like this lineup much... we are not sure where my client fits in since you have two great small forwards and two great bigs. Don't you think it would be more beneficial for you to pursue Devin Harris this offseason instead of making Granger play the bench? Looking at your lineup now, my client just isn't sure that he fits into your team

We wanted our captain to come back but its ok as we see. We wish Jamison all the luck and hope he dosnt sign with a team in the west at least. We really tried and just want him to know he loved!

Just a note we are trying to trade Granger for a big man to help up front and jamison would have no worries.

We understand that you want to accomodate my client, and you could still possibly do that during regular free agency. But, as it looks right now, both your frontcourt and wings are very crowded, and my client would rather go to a team where he can contribute a lot. My client will be hitting regular free agency. We will keep in contact with you during that period if you have made any changes.
