OK, so i was looking at the 2005 NBA Draft, and let's say you could go back in time as the GM of each team in the top 5. How would you draft, knowing what you know now?
2005 - Actual 1. Milwaukee Bucks - Andrew Bogut 2. Atlanta Hawks - Marvin Williams 3. Utah Jazz - Deron Williams 4. New Orleans Hornets - Chris Paul 5. Charlotte Bobcats - Raymond Felton
Heres how i would do it.....
1. Milwaukee Bucks - Andrew Bynum (#10th Overall Actual) 2. Atlanta Hawks - Chris Paul (#4th) 3. Utah Jazz - Deron Williams 4. New Orleans Hornets - Monta Ellis (#40th) 5. Charlotte Bobcats - Andrew Bogut (#1st)
I considered Danny Granger at #5, but let me know what you guys think and post your own.

Bynum has shown he will be good but he's not Chris Paul good.

guys, guys, you can't just go with the best players IN the draft, you gotta go with the best players WITH TEAM NEEDS.
now if this was give me top 5 players in 2005 draft, then CP3 and D. Will goes first.
1. Milwaukee Bucks - Andrew Bynum 2. Atlanta Hawks - Chris Paul 3. Utah Jazz - Deron Williams 4. New Orleans Hornets - Andrew Bogut 5. Charlotte Bobcats - Monta Ellis

Also, technically, Ford was the Bucks' PG, and he was traded, so.....seriously, why am I pointing out a "mistake" I may have made?

i have to agree with detroit.... CP3 and Deron are maybe the two best pgs in the league while Bynum still may be a bust (which i think he is :/)
i dont care if you have a point guard already, you draft for talent, and paul and williams are much more talented than bynum

They could've traded Mo Williams. Hell, if they knew what they knew now, they'd just take back whatever they can. I know I would.

WHAT!? He's only 20 years old! But thanks for making my point, you draft for talent. Paul and Williams i believe have reached thier ceilings already talent wise. Paul and Deron are 23 and 24, respectively. I go with Bynum over Paul and Williams at the moment, because he still has loads of untapped potential as he continues to get stronger. Maybe 3 more years down the road, and Bynum maybe shows he is more injury prone, then you go with Paul or Williams. But in no means is this guy done developing. Again, A BUST!?? Its not like this guy was drafted #1 overall. He was number ten, behind Charlie V, Bogut and Channing Frye. And, he was only 17 years old when he was drafted. You can make the case that he isn't as good as Paul or Deron, but no way call him a bust.

^I really don't think Paul and Williams have reached their potential.

^I really don't think Paul and Williams have reached their potential. Okay maybe they haven't reached thier potential, but they can't have much more of an impact is what im saying. 20+ ppg and 10+ assists are great to have, but you don't know how well Bynum is going to be down the road. He could be Shaq-like dominant as he gets stronger.
