Center:
vs.
Aw, both white guys. Lol, Miller is able to bring both offense and defense. Biedrins is more of a defensive guy, so I give this to Miller. Miller will be able to spread the floor for Phoenix if it's really needed anymore, while Biedrins doesn't have much of a stroke at all.
Advantage: Brad Miller
Power Forward:
vs.
Both great versitle guys, similar player, just Jamison is more of a star than Harrington is. Harrington gets the edge defensively, since he actually tries to player defense. Jamison would get the offensive advantage, but not in NBA Live, Harrington puts up big numbers, so Harrington gets tops here.
Advantage: Al Harrington
Small Forward:
vs.
If you wanna see LeBron dominate someone, you've come to the right place. From what I know, Jumaine Jones has to be a better defender than Wally. Mr. King James is gonna have hisself a field day.
Advantage: LeBron James
Front Court:
Though the GSW could possibly win 2 of the 3 frontcourt matchups, Phoenix is more balanced, and the James - Wally matchup makes up for it.
Shooting Guard:
vs.
VC's a better all-around player, but he's not gonna play any defense, so Lewis and his shooting game will be huge. Speaking of huge, there's quite a size differential edge to Lewis. In GS, with Lewis not having to be the 1st or 2nd option, he should be more relexed.
Advantage: Rashard Lewis
Point Guard:
vs.
Both guys play differently, but both are great fits for their teams, respectively. B-Diddy gets my vote, since Nash won't have an easy time guarding him at all. Both guys have had great seasons, so look for this matchup, as it will be HUGE in this series.
Advantage: Baron Davis
Backcourt:
I'll go ahead and give this to the Warriors, both great scorers, and will consistantly show up in sims. Davis should be able to score at will on any of they guys put on him.
Bench:
Phoenix's bench is really weak, compared to the Warriors' much more notable one. A bunch of guys wanting to win a title vs. a handful of guys no one's heard of. You tell me.
Advantage: Warriors
Series Prediction: Warriors in 6
One of the 1st round upsets. High scoring series throughout, loads of potent scorers from both sides, but that better defense and bench from GS wins it.
Series MVP:
He will be a deadly part in the Warriors' wins, as he has been. He should be able to average about 30, 10, and 3 on the defensively weak Suns.
FUN FACT: VINCE CARTER WAS DRAFTED BY THE WARRIORS.
