Center:
vs.
Camby, unlike Miller (see mistake thread), can hold his own against Shaq. Pretty evenly matched duo, but Shaq's power wins it. Though Shaq looks as if he would win the matchup, Camby will be the bigger part of his team's win.
Advantage: Shaquille O'Neal
Power Forward:
vs.
Dalembert will be a huge boast diffensively, but IMO, Wilcox will be the X-factor in any Seattle victory. Wilcox depending on the environment, can explode both offensively and defensively.
Advantage: Chris Wilcox
Small Forward:
vs.
Hard to say Jones has anything on AK-47. I would hope to think that Seattle would want to stick Kirilenko on Kobe or AI instead of wasting him on Jones, but it's NBA Live, who knows.
Advantage: Andrei Kirilenko
Front Court:
Defensively, you couldn't ask more from a frontcourt than what Seattle has, from Camby, to AK47. Outside of Shaq, LA doesn't really have a scorer here, and Shaq is sort of slipping defensively, leaving only Wilcox.
Shooting Guard:
vs.
Redd is a better shooter, but if Kobe wants, he can score on Redd whenever, seeing as Redd couldn't play defense to save anyone's life. Kobe's the best all-around SG in any league right now, Redd won't be much.
Advantage: Kobe Bryant
Point Guard:
vs.
It's hard not to pick A.I. here, but I'm gonna go ahead and do that. Miller has the ability to take over at PG most of the time, and with Seattle's solid defense already, Miller won't have to worry about defednign AI as much.
Advantage: Andre Miller
Backcourt:
Though the Sonics' backcourt is a lot more balanced, who wouldn't want A.I. and Kobe in their backcourt? I still consider them ballhogs, but they can both score whenever. Haha, didn't have to change much here.
Bench:
Seattle has a bench, with an excellent mix of young guys, and vets. It's filled with great role players at each position. The Lakers really don't have much help off the bench.
Advantage: Sonics
Series Prediction: Sonics in 6
I'm hoping this won't come true, so the Lakers can face the Suns, but it's my prediction nonetheless. The Big 3 in L.A. is quite a bunch, but the Sonics are a ton more balanced team.
Series MVP:
If he can find his game vs. the Lakers' frontcourt, he should be huge in the Sonics winning. Camby should also be big, but I think Wilcox will be better.
FUN FACT: JUMAINE JONES IS ON THE NETS ROSTER.
