shall we.
I KNOW that Rose is a CHI-Town homeboy, but you cannot confuse stupidity with wins.
with Beasley the Bulls will win, with Rose they will sell a lot of tickets.
I JUST don't think this is the right team for Derrick Rose, he would be better off in MIA, MEM, SEA, LAC or NYK.
unless the Bulls can magically get rid of Hinrich and Hughes and Gordon there is no way they should select Derrick Rose.

Couldn't disagree more. Rose is the perfect fit for the Bulls. Beasley reminds me of a Carlos Boozer type. If Boozer didnt have Dwill he wouldn't be the 20 and 10 guy he is. Hinrich is not a PG. He thinks he is and Skiles thought he was, but hes more of a combo. I can almost guarantee that if we pick Rose, Hinrich and/or Gordon will be gone. I just don't see that tremendous upside in Beasley that I see in Rose.
Also, picking Beasley pretty much means the Bulls are giving up on Tyrus Thomas. I don't see that happening. Bulls have had Hinrich for 5 years now. He hasn't been much more than a 15 PPG and 6 APG type guy. Its time for him to go.

I would like them to take Rose but I wouldn't mind if they took Beasley, and I also wish(depending on how the draft goes) that they can trade for a mid to late 1st round pick and draft a center

Boozer would not put up 20 and 10 without D-Will, now I know your on crack. Boozer put up 18 and 10 WHEN HE WAS IN CLE, so BOOZER was good BEFORE D-WILL came to Utah, HE WAS JUST injury prone. They should give up on Tyrus Thomas, he is nothing more then a shorter more glorified Anderson Varajao, in fact they have 2 with Thomas and Noah. John Paxson should be fired if he does not select Beasley. This is gonna be 3 YEARS IN A ROW, he passed up a bigman with legit skills down low for something else. They already made 2 DUMB move, by trading Aldridge and not drafting Spencer Hawes for Thomas and Noah (I understand taking Thomas/Noah, espicially Thomas since they believe he could have high ceiling, but seriously if that's the case why draft Noah and not Hawes. it's ridiculous, he is soon becoming a smarter Billy Knight, and you know that's not a complement. if Billy Knight was horrible for making that mistakes he did at PG, then imagine how many times Paxson would get BLASTED for passing up Beasley. He made good move with drafts, BUT one nice trade and that's the Eddy Curry trade and that's it. and another dumb move signing Ben Wallace. imagine who he could of had instead Chandler (with new coach, should feel more relaxed), Aldridge, and Hawes. He could of also had Rudy Gay, but he is more SF then PF. DEFENSE can be taught, having good low post skills can't. you can teach them but it takes for years and too long for a bigman to grasp, instead defense is much easier for a big.

Oh without question Pax has messed up big time with previous drafts. LMA for TT was awful. Trading Chandler for PJ Brown and JR Smith was awful and then trading JR Smith for 2 2nd round picks was also awful. This is a make ore break draft for Pax. If the player he picks somehow sucks/is a bust he is gone next off season.
As for Boozer. He didnt become the all-star he is until D-Will came to the Jazz. You can pretty much book that and take it to the bank, The pick and roll they use is phenomenal and Boozer pretty much gets layup after layup with Dwill feeding him the ball.

If they draft Rose(which I think they should) then sign either Elton Brand or Emeka Okafor if they become available in free agency and also try and trade for another 1st to get a center, it doesn't even have to be a high pick, JaVale McGee, Alexis Ajinca, and Ante Tomic (if his agents remembers to get clearance from his Croatian team) should be available mid to late 1st. I'm pretty interested in Alexis Ajinca and Ante Tomic, both are over 7ft and are pretty athletic, but should put on a little more weight. ( Ante Tomic was a projected 1st round pick in the 2007 draft but his agents forgot to get clearance from his Croatian team, KK Zagrebt, and it resulted in them not letting him out of his contract to play in the NBA)

So Seattle, since you guys need a big man, and we need a PG, would you guys be considering an Aldridge-#1 pick (Rose) swap? Blazer fans on RealGM are discussing it, and it's about split, but I wouldn't do it since Aldridge has proven what he can do, while Rose is just potential.
