With the Cavaliers in the thick of the playoff race, many would question why the Cleveland Cavaliers would fire thier head coach. There have been outspoken disgruntled players that were not happy with former head coach Mike Brown. "He cries every night about losing Lebron James. I hear him in in his office. Its always Lebron would have done that, If LeBron was here..." - Elton Brand "Yeah,LeBron is gone. Coach Brown just needs to get over it. I personally think were better off now under our new GM. Our old GM was a retard." - Veteran PG Eric Snow "It's was obvious that we needed a change in direction with letting go of Brown. I wish the best to him in his future endeavors." - GM DominatorDom22 Now that the love affair between Mike Brown and LeBron James is over; who will the Cavs turn to to lead thier team?"To us, there was really only one option. One candidate that won us over with his charisma, his ability to lead, to be an example on and off the court to our players. His basketball knowledge impressed us as well." I'm sure you are all dying with anticipation. Who is the new coach in Cleveland? One man, Stephen Colbert. "I accept the Cleveland Cavaliers offer to coach thier wonderful franchise. I will do my best to honor thier proud history and to take them to thier highest potential. Colbert Nation - Rally around my Cleveland Cavaliers as i turn them into America's Team!" Coach Colbert adressing the press, with President George W. Bush looking on in the background. [/i] Are the Cleveland Cavaliers now America's Team? One thing is for sure, things are looking up in Cleveland.
