PLEASE ONLY RESPOND IF YOU HAVE TAKEN EITHER STANDARDIZED TESTS.
I am taking the ACT in June 14 this year (right now in 11th grade), and then I'll take the SAT in the fall (as a 12th grader)
so I was wondering is there ay advantage, or differences, or anything that makes one test easier/different from the other or are they both the same.
BTW I have another question, AND PLEASE ONLY RESPOND IF YOU EVER TOOK IT.
Have any of you guys ever taken AP World History test, I have to take that test in May 15th (Thursday), so I was wondering if I can get any advice for that.

I took the ACT when i was in like the 8th grade for the Duke Talent Identification Program- so I really dont remember how hard it was or not. I mean it was hard for an 8th grader, but you should be fine.
I took the SAT in high school and thats what i used to get into college.
As for the AP classes, i never took AP World History, but i took AP US history. Just get a book from Barnes and Noble that is done by one of those testing companies, like Kaplan, to help supplement your regular studying

no, they arent that bad.. They are just long. Its a war of attrition. The test isnt bad, its just keeping your concentration throughout the whole time that you are sittting there. Neither are hard per say....just long

I only took the ACT and I thought it was pretty easy. If you've taken a few practice tests and have all the mini techniques and helpful tips you can use, you should be fine.
I never had to take the SAT, but from everything I hear, they are generally harder than the ACT.

I took both and SAT was easier IMO...but its got some writing portion to it now so i have no clue how that is.
In my opinion, if you do well in school then itll be fine. And if you're in AP classes then dont worry about it

yeah, if you are in AP classes, just worry about things that could affect your test performance. Make sure to eat a good dinner and then breakfast before the test so that you have enough energy to concentrate over a long period of time. Make sure you get plenty of sleep the night before. Make sure that you bring all the necessities to take the test (no 2 pencils, ids etc....). You arent going to be able to cram any more information in a couple days before the test, just worry about things that you can control...
Good Luck
