Yep. Rumors are that Pax has already contacted his agent. I would except an interview within the next few days and then pray to god he surpasses Carlisle on the totem pole.

don't just keep an eye for Avery, keep an eye on George Karl and Mike D'Antoni
THEY might be out of a job too pretty soon.

Sam Mitchell as well
Sam Mitchell would fit VERY WELL with the personnel in place in New York - very well. The Knicks' immature players could definitely use a hardass. I'm still not sold that Bryan Colangelo is confident with Sam Mitchell, and if Donnie Walsh throws an offer at Sam Mitchell that he can't refuse, I don't see Bryan Colangelo matching it.

I still can't believe Larry Brown is coaching again. What is MJ thinking?

How did he do with the Knicks? He had enough talent there to make the playoffs in the East and he ended up leaving after a year. He's the best at leaving a team high and dry. That is why I don't understand why he hired Brown. I don't see him being there more than this upcoming year and that isn't a long term fix. Waiting for Avery Johnson would have made much more sense. He's known for defense and his tenacity and the Bobcats need that more than anything. Dumb, dumb move.

*I edited your post because the link didnt work. Pax better not drop the ball on this one. If Avery honestly wants to go to that disaster known as the Knicks, then I guess you have to let him. But if its a money issue, Pax better open the checkbook.

Good luck in NY , it'll be interesting to see how he does in NY since they don't have anyone who fits in his style of play. Their frontcourt can't handle the style of play he likes. They will have to make major changes to suit his style. Can't imagine Eddy Curry and Zach Randolph running up and down the court LOL.

Yea I was watching Sportscenter and they were counting up the players from the Bulls and Knicks that would fit D'Antoni's system and the Knicks have 3 (Balkman, Crawford, & David Lee) while the Bulls have 7 (TT, BG, Deng, Sefolosha, Noah, Hughes & Hinrich to a certain degree.)
He's clearly all about the money.
