Philadelphia 76ers trade: Juan-Carlos-Navarro-(68)--$1,000,000---$1,000,000---$1,000,000---$1,000,000
Philadelphia 76ers receive: Cuttino-Mobley-(77)-----$8,700,000----$9,275,000----$9,850,000
Total Incoming: $8,700,000 Total Outgoing: $1,000,000
I'm going to pick up $7,700,000 of Mobley's contract for this year so the salaries work in Philly's chart.
Basically here's why I do this - I finally get rid of Mobley's contract. Opens up more playing time for my other players. I think JCN's rating should probably go up a little bit, and Mobley is at his max. I'll have about 55 million in cap before I pick up options next year, and the only options I think I'll pick up add up to 5 or 7 million. I'll have space to sign my draft picks, a very top free agent, and another good free agent if I choose.
Philly and I have both agreed to do this trade, but we didn't agree on how much salary I'd pay. I assume he'll be alright with this though. If not, we'll change it.
I'm gonna post it awhile though and Philly should accept today probably.

I accept, Mobley will help out significantly this season, he is capable of putting up 20+ pts in NBA LIVE.

Mobley is capable of putting up around 24pts a game in Live so he is worth trading for even with his contract so I accept

I accept. LAC works on his salary situation for the future, Philly works on winning this year. Makes sense.

yeah i accept this
JCN rating might go up and LAC gets rid of a big contract that can help him rebuild his team while PHI gets a really good scorer to help his team contend for a title

oh son of a b*tch...that really really sucks.
Cleveland should never have had to pay 100,000 for this year in order for that trade to work either.
Philly sent out $7,747,096. Take that, multiply by 1.25 (125%) = $9,683,870, but then if you add 100,000 which is how the 125% rule works, you can add 100,000 to the amount and it works...it equals $9,783,870. The amount he took in was $9,701,415. So that trade would've worked under the 125% rule w/o cleveland paying the 100,000 that he is paying.
Philly is paying something for NEXT year though...but why couldn't he do one for this year?
dang I'm just really upset. Thought i finally had moved cuttino.
Anyone else want him? PM

Yea I stated in that thread that Cleveland didn't have to pay the 100,000, guess no one edited it.
Next year or this year, it doesn't matter on when the money transferring is taking place. I stated in the rule that a team may be involved in only 1 trade that is like that. This isnt a yearly thing as I have stated that this will be eliminated next season in the trade rules.
Sorry LAC, I know you have tried hard to deal Mobley.

It's alright, thanks anyway.
Seriously, any other takers? I'll use my one exception to paying Mobley's salary. Definitely would be worth it to me, and as others stated in this thread, he can still drop 20 a game.
Anyone?
