As GM of the Sonics, I accept. This move was made by me as I look forward to next year. Brevin Knight, my current backup PG, will be a FA and I wont have the cap to resign him so now Watson fills that void as he is under contract for another 2 years. Losing Pavlovic doesn't hurt a bit for me. I am kind of upset at myself that I gave him my full MLE for the next 3 years. Thabo replaces him in the depth chart.
The pick was included because Watson's contract is a bit bigger than Pavlovic's.
