The Celtics would like to up their offer for Barnes to 4 years and 20 million. Barnes could also compete for a starting job or be the back-up to Durant.

Memphis just a heads up, when posting an offer you have to inclue the salary your offering into your total team salary. For example, in your last offer your salary for the 07-08 season should be $58,453,849 instead of $55,453,849. You have to include the $3,000,000 your offering.

why would he accept 20 million and not 25, that doesnt make any sense. There are a lot of other reasons. Winning team or not, team situation, playing time, etc. And plus you said you gave up bidding on Barnes.
