FAT old Shaq is at 12% body fat. That isn't fat. He could get down to 10% with all the running the Suns do by the playoffs and then watch out. I don't care how the Suns play the rest of the regular season. Once the playoffs start they will be a force to be reckoned with.
A motivated and slimmed down Shaq is better than any team's center you mentioned not named Tim Duncan (and he plays PF). The Spurs look beatable for the first time in the Duncan era, the Cavs only have LeBron, Celtics have ONE good big man (KG), Lakers have two inferior big men (as of now) in Gasol and Bynum, Hornets have two young big men that won't be good enough on D to stop both Shaq and Amare, Jazz have Boozer and Okur and both will be outmatched at the defensive end, Pistons have Sheed and...that's it for big men, Mavs have Dirk and when was the last time he played good D on a bigger player, and the Magic have a stud in Howard but there is no way they put Shard on Amare.

Plus I like the Suns starting five more now.
C- Shaq PF- Amare SF- Diaw SG- Bell PG- Nash
They may not play a lot of D but they'll outscore just about everyone and with Grant Hill and Barbosa (he might start) coming off the bench they can run any team ragged. I don't see any team being able to win the series in 6 games or less against them and that gives them a great chance.

We will see what happens when Shaq plays his first game, and see how much impact he makes, which I think will be after all-star break, aganist the Lakers at home. and you saw what happened to PHX yestarday, Peja and Paul went off, if Marion was still there he would have contained one of them.

Im dont agree with the Lakers when u say that he isnt good in D, he is great, but not the Best, thats why he doesnt win DPOY, but I do agree that Shaq make the Suns slowly, how cna someone who isnt in his best shape make the team faster ? Marion was fast....but Shaq doesnt want to win, is slow and his career is almost over.... Wait and See
and I think that this is trade will be better for Miami now...

Diaw is more versatile and can be a difference maker when he gets playing time. Oh, and he won't be guarding David West...Amare will.

lol lakers lost to hawks Don't worry, the Blazers will take care of your Pistons tomorrow or whatever day it is, we've done it before this season. Let's not turn this into a thread of team bashing please.
