The Portland Trailblazers have introduced Jalen Rose this morning in their press conference.
"We signed him yesterday" said the Blazers GM, but contract terms were not released but is projected to be at a minimum contract.
In the press conference it was said that Rose was brought to the Blazers to give them a veteran presence to help out their younger guards in Brandon Roy,Martell Webster and Rasual Butler and bring a spark off the bench.
"I know my role, hopefully i can exceed what is expected of me, i really like how this franchise has a solid roster and isnt pulling the trigger on trades easily and i know that if i play consistent, i wont be thrown out onto another team" said Rose.
The Blazers and the NBA community welcome Jalen Rose and hope he has a good tenture at the Blazers.
It was also reported that Brandon Roy urged the Blazers organization to sign Jalen as Roy used to like Rose as a kid growing up which definately pushed the signing of Rose.
