Right now the Portland Trail Blazers have two options to make. Move their stars? Or give them one more crack? The GM of the Blazers say that they are willing on giving up their young players like Aldridge, Roy, Webster to get a superstar in return. "It depends, they are on the market out there, the whole team is really but if we get a deal for our young guys then we will be willing to pull the trigger" The Blazers GM also stated that the potential trades may not coming in the offseason, but it will be coming around in the 2007-08 season. "I will give our young guys an opportunity this season to perform and see how they go, if they improve, if they are the same as last year, there is no point of keeping them here" Also the fact that Aldridge has expressed his displeasure with playing time at the Blazers and is looking to move to a team where he will get more playing time, but is still willing to stick with the Blazers if need be. One Last statement the GM has made "I like Paul Pierce, i like the way he has lead the Warriors this season and i am very interested in aquiring him and wouldnt mind giving up Lewis in a package." Portlands future is looking un-certain right now, lets just hope that the team plays like they did late this season. Lewis or Pierce? "Definately Pierce" replied the GM laughing and joking saying "they are both great players in their own right."
