We would like to offer Mr. Ilyasova a 5 year 23 million dollar deal out of the MLE
Year 1-$3,000,000 Year 2-$5,000,000 Year 3-$5,000,000 Year 4-$5,000,000 Year 5-$5,000,000 Total:$23,000,000
He will be coming off the bench at PF and has a great chance to win a ring. He will be the BACKUP PF and see some time at SF. We really want him in the D. We feel he can slide into the roll of a starter in a few years and will have great mentors ahead of him to get him ready

The Minnesota Timberwolves would like to ofer Ersan Ilyasova a 5 year deal worth 25 million dollars with a player option in years 4 and 5. Year 1: $6,000,000 Year 2: $4,000,000 Year 3: $5,000,000 Year 4: $5,000,000Year 5: $5,000,000Total: $25,000,000 Total Team Salary:2009-2010 - $46,827,200 2010-2011 - $23,497,500 2011-2012 - $25,289,940 2012-2013 - $00,000,000 2013-2014 - $00,000,000 The Wolves would love to add Ersan to the team. He would be the perfect 6th man for our team playing both the Power Forward and Small Forward position, and also having some time at the Center position. He will have the oppotunity to start if Josh Smith or Jason Thompson is traded to another team. We are very excitied to hear back and would love to have him in Minnesota.

Currently, I'm waiting on the signings of some bigger names who are higher on the priority lists of some of the teams offering on Ersan, before I make any decision.
That said, Minny is currently a slight favorite based on the number of years offered. Ersan would prefer that 4th year be a PO, but as of now it's not making or breaking anything.
Detroit's offer is pretty weak right now, so if he has real interest, we would recommend an increase in money per year, even if it might shorten the contract a year.
Again, just wanted to get things started here, no decision is imminent, but right now Minnesota is the early favorite by just a little.

Ersan looks to be the best bench player in ratings for the TWolves, while the 2nd best on the Pistons. PLENTY of PT either way. The money is about equal, though the TWolves have consistently been all over Mr. Ilyasova's services, and have consistently been offering the most money.
What has made his decision is the chance to grow with the TWolves' young team.
Ersan signs with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Update your charts ASAP.
