The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed in principle to a trade with the San Antonio Spurs in which the Lakers will send Jamal Crawford in a SIGN AND TRADE to the San Antonio Spurs for the draft rights of DeJuan Blair. With the Spurs, Jamal has a chance to be a all-star caliber player, a starter at PG or SG and someone who can help this team reach the playoffs with their young nucleus of Stephen Curry, Jose Calderon, Anderson Varajao, Brandon Rush, and Al Harrington.

My clients does not want to go to the lowly Spurs, who have Calderon and Curry in the backcourt. My client is insulted at this, though getting away from Kobe will do wonders for his career. If my client has to be on a losing team he wants a lot more money, and maybe a player option or two. San Antonio will have to do a lot better than this, my client feels lowballed, I mean he is averaging 17 points a game. Also he has to take into account if he refuses to sign this offer sheet his a FA, and the FA waters look much better than this.

My client loathes the idea of going to San Antonio, but the Spurs GM really opened his check book for my client. The options are nice as well, and that rumor that my client will be traded is enough for him to go ahead and accept. Though in the future I would encourage the Spurs GM not to make so many wild statements about the agent, agents have feelings to you know.
PS. Please put the total.
