Duncan got robbed, he almost got them to 72 wins (which would of tied the all time wins mark in NBA history), and he is dominating in the playoffs right now.
On top of that Duncan has better statistics then Dirk everywhere except PPG.
Nonetheless congrats to Dirk for winning the MVP.
But NEXT YEAR 24's gonna get it.

I cant speak for the rest of the staff, but my thinking was that New Orleans would still be a damn good team without Duncan. Memphis without Dirk, not so much. Dirk averaged 25.1 ppg with Memphis this season. No one close to that number. Memphis also went 40-20 after they acquired him. Before, they got him they were just meddling in mediocrity.

I agree 100% with OKC and that's why I voted for Dirk. Take Timmy away from NO and they have either Richard Jefferson or Hedo Turkoglu to play PF, take Dirk away from Memphis and they either have Stojakovic or Battier start at PF.

Yea basically, Dirk just did more for his team and was more valuable to his team, than the other guys were.
