uhhh are you guys serious?
beasley is still doing great for a rookie... he just doesnt get as many touches/minutes as those other guys because he is the only one on a playoff team

Beasley has Wade on his team... yes westbrook has durrant, rose..gordon,deng, mayo..gay....roy had alreidge...paul/williams both had all-stars.. A guy as talented as michael besaley should be a lot better since a wade type players make its easier for him.

lol, "roy had aldridge" they were drafted at the same year...so both didnt have any experience...plus Beasley has talent IMO, if he gets some more minutes he'll make better numbers

he's asking this because of Rose's emergence as a definite future all star i'm guessing.

I watched Beasley, I'm not all that impressed with him and think the Bulls made a DAMN good decision drafting Rose...but he WAS good in college so maybe it's just confidence? I don't know but he was def. worthy of the #2 pick irl, and he was the highest rated guy and LAC needed bigmen common now.

Yeah.....I dont really know why they drafted Rose because Beasley is a big man and they needed a big man more than a guard.....but Rose is playing better IMO....but yes Beasley was good in college...sometimes a players is great in college but when it comes to the NBA they dont play that well Glenn Robinson was probably one of the worst deceptions IMO from when he got drafted

When they got the 1st pick I didn't want Beasley at all. I wanted Rose even before the Bulls got the pick.
Beasley was more suited for the Bulls, as they needed a big man. But the Bulls couldn't pass up on Rose, especially when he's from Chicago!

Wow I'll answer this now. lol
NO, I do not regret drafting him. I like what I've seen out of him so far. His offensive game is amazing, and the reason he's not playing AS MUCH as other guys, is a couple reasons.
1 - He is not great at defense, but his coach wants him to be. This will help him become a better defensive player, being forced to work on it if he wants to see the court. And lately, he is starting to see the court more.
2 - His team is better than those other teams. DWade is a bonafide superstar, like top 5 player in the league. There is NO WAY Beasley will ever be the #1 option on that team, but I do really think he can be, and will be as good or better than the other players from his draft class you are talking about.
Plus, like Charlotte said, I needed some kind of big man, and he was the only option at the top of the draft. Yea I could've drafted someone else and traded for a big...but honestly I do not regret drafting him at all.
ALSO, these questions are pretty pointless...even IF I did wish I had one of Rose/Mayo/Westbrook, I wouldn't really regret it. I understand that hindsight is mostly 20/20, or at least a LOT easier to make a decision with hindsight than w/o it obviously.
Anyway, I love Beasley's game, he's got an incredible jumper, and he will be a very nice rebounding force also. Patience man, patience.

Plus...I'm pretty sure I read that per 48 minutes, Beasley leads rookies in scoring. Would be good if you did more research before asking a question like this. Kid is going to be a beast, mark it down.

And why would you LAC wish he draft Westbrook? Beasley's stats are just as good, I could see Mayo or Rose but like LAC patience.
So since you started this and it's about done, do you regret drafting Jared Bayless?

It's Jerryd Bayless, I think. And I remember hearing him say he's gonna be better then Rose once he gets his minutes.

The reason i asked this is cause imo oj mayo, derrick rose are clearly superstars in the making while beasley has question marks all over him. As for drafting Bayless....if he was the franchise of my team it would have been a hell yes but since i have d12 and josh howard i don't give a f**k about bayless he'll come into the zone some time. Plus a man who can do this justify being the 4th pick ca.youtube.com/watch?v=4rffaP5VuYU
