Of course Indy would take the white guy lol. Hansborough went way too high IMO. Blair would've been a better pick. Surprise of the draft for sure.

Suns new lineup: Nash-Curry-Richardson-Clack-Biedrins Pending the contract extension of Amare.
Nash will probably be traded though. Not too bad for the Suns, rebuilding.

LMFAO @ Minnesota. Rubio at 5, Flynn @ 6, Lawson @ 18. That's crazy. 3 PG's in the first round, 2 in the lotto.
EDIT: Lawson being traded to Denver for Charlotte's future 1st.

DeJuan Blair fell to the Spurs in the 2nd round, how the hell could the Bulls pass him up for another to thin PF in Taj Gibson? Also surprised by Chase Budinger falling to the 2nd round, most mock drafts had him as a mid 1st. Good pick up for Detroit.
EDIT: Just read Detroits post about Budinger being traded, not a good move imo, I'm pretty sure they won't save that much salary by trading away a 2nd round pick.

His knees must really be 'effed up for him to drop that much though. Overall, it wasn't the best of KP's drafts, Claver probably would've fallen to one of our early 2nd round picks, I would prefer Blair over Pendergraph, and I don't really care for what'shisface that we drafted 33rd, but Patty Mills at 55 was a steal IMO.

www.storytellerscontracts.info/resources/09-10salaries.htmthose are the current salaries as is for 2009-2010 out of that list it looks like Atlanta, Detroit, Memphis, Oklahoma City, Portland, Toronto, and possibly Sacramento are the ONLY teams that can offer more then 7 million for the FA for the 2009-2010 season, the others are stuck with MLE. It'll be interesting where guys like Hedo, Iverson, Sheed goes.

Atlanta, Detroit, Portland, and Toronto have to be the spots Hedo is looking at. Others are kind of obvious, but him in TOR might be pretty tough with Calderon and Bosh...just not sure if TOR would do that since they have to resign Bosh...though it might make Bosh happy? If ATL gets him look out, he is what they need. Who knows what Detroit is going to look next year, but they do have Prince who is a 3 and Hedo is a 3...neither one of them can play another position really. I think Portland needs Kirk, Hedo wouldn't fit in with them very well. Rudy and him are a lot a like I think, and I really like Portland needs a PG. Hedo is overrated somewhat in my mind, he has to be on a team where they need him to shoot because he takes a lot of bad shots. I'm going to say Atlanta is the best fit for him followed by Toronto.

I think free agency is going to be pretty boring this year, the only players I'm really interested in seeing what happens with are Hedo, Iverson and somewhat Sheed.

I think Portland and Toronto will be Hedo's main suitors. Portland would be a better destination for him, but Toronto can offer him more money. Personally, I wouldn't mind Hedo, but if it's 10mil+, I'll pass. Detroit only goes after him if Prince gets traded.

Just imagine Atlanta with Hedo...
PG: Crawford or Johnson SG: Other SF: Hedo PF: Smith/Williams C: Horford
That is pretty sick imo, 3 athletic guys that can shoot the ball. Then you have Smith down low where he can do some damage, he will never have to dribble haha. If they want to trade Smith, Williams can play that role pretty well. I personally like it, Bibby isn't a true PG and they probably won't be able to get one...so Johnson, Hedo, and maybe Crawford can just take turns picking and rolling. I think they might could compete in the East with that type of team.
And just to be clear for my knowledge, Chicago said it would be a boring FA but what about Boozer and Gordon? I thought Boozer made it pretty clear he wasn't going back, and him and DET seem like a natural fit to me.
