I think it's a little like the Gasol deal, RJ for NOTHING...they should have gotten Mason or Hill in the deal. I made a post in rim, but bottom line is Spurs are loaded.
Big rumor I like is Hinrich to the Blazers, not sure what the Bulls would get but PG: Hinrich SG: Roy SF: Rudy PF: Aldridge C: Oden with a bench of Bayless (surely he can over take Blake), Outlaw, and Pryz is pretty sick. I could see Rudy having a HUGE year, he's really underrated and so Hinrich. Before Rose I felt like Captain Kirk was a top 10 PG, Portland would be DAMN good with him I think. This is also not considering what if Oden, Roy, and/or Aldridge get better? Or maybe Outlaw, he has A LOT of ability.

I myself haven't taken a side of being against it or with it, 'cause I want Miller/Hedo. Just not sure if the Hinrich upgrade over Blake is worth the extra cash we'd had to spend.

Hedo is way overrated, he'd take the ball out of Roy's hands plus I think Rudy can become a lot like Hedo (but smarter.) Hinrich is a REALLY good 2 way player, I know people will call me crazy but I don't think it's nuts to assume Hinrich is better than Hedo....espeically for Portland. Blake blows, unless Bayless is gonna be something that is all Portland needs is a PG.

Charlotte really hates Steve Blake Hinrich's contract declines ever year. I believe he is down to the 8.5 million range this coming season, which is not too bad for a starting PG that could put up 16 and 7. 8.5 million for a backup (which is what he is on the bulls) is terrible.

IMO, Hedo would compliment Roy very well. Rudy, I prefer playing more of a Manu Ginobili role, coming off the bench as our "instant offense". And he's not big enough to play SF, though he could. As for Bayless, Portland fans are planning on getting a vet starter PG, and let Bayless develop as the backup. Only thing I'm counting on right now is that Outlaw and Sergio Rodriguez will not be Trailblazers next year.

Blake blows, if it wasn't for him POR would have taken HOU to 7.
Anyways I'm telling you Hedo is an idiot, you need a team ball player on that team...Portland has plenty of talent. Okay fine, bring Rudy off the bench and start Batum...in crunch time you want Rudy on the floor and him and Hedo are way too similar to do that. You'd have Roy at PG, and he wouldn't be playing off the ball. Portland getting Kirk is like Cleveland getting Mo expect instead of being your 2nd best player, he's at best 3rd. Ask Chicago, Kirk is a LEGIT starting PG if they didn't have "The Thorn." I mean hell it's hard to name very many PG's better than Kirk...Paul, Williams, Parker, Rose, Billups, Nash, probably Harris, Rondo (taking out guys like Agent 0 and Bdiddy, who knows what they have left? Plus they are more scorers anyways) IMO he is on the same level as Mo Williams, Nelson, Calderon, and Andre Miller. He is also the best defender of that bunch by A LONG shot....so I would take him over any of those guys. I'm no Portland fan, but Captain Kirk is the way to go.
PS. Stuckey has proven nothing DET.

PS. Stuckey has proven nothing DET. I think he has proven that he was the 3rd best player in the 07 draft, behind Durant and Green, Thorton probally is same as Stuckey, He has proven he can score 40 points a game. He has proven that he is getting better at his jump shot. You have to remember this kid figured he was going to be the 6th man for the Pistons and gradually come into the starting lineup. Then all of a sudden he was playing with AI and Rip(two players who always want the ball) so his stats were deffidently taken away by those two, but overall he had a better season then most expected and if we can bring in some good players next year I think you will see him have a breakout season. I'm not saying he is gonna be a CP3 or D-Will but he has the ability to become a Joe D type of player and lead this team for years.

I wouldn't say it's as bad as the Gasol deal. This gets the Bucks cap room to re-sign CV and Sessions, the Grizzles did nothing with their cap space, they just did it for the sake of saving money. Utah are you mentally retarded. THIS IS WORSE THEN THE GASOL DEAL, the Grizzlies got Marc Gasol out of the deal who is pretty good, Darrell Arthur and future 1st. NOT ONLY DID SAN ANTONIO GIVE NOTHING, but they'll soon get BACK BOWEN AND POSSIBLY OBERTO when their contracts are bought out. talk about GREGG POPOBITCH BEING A HYPOCRITE.

I don't think it's that bad remember Lamar Odom made 14.5 mil as a 6th man, and I know Kirk does not OFFER the things Odom does overall, but he is a solid defender and is a pretty decent shooter.

DET: Oden is the 2nd best player in the 08 draft, period.
LAL: I agree with you that Memphis got more, but Gasol is A LOT better than RJ.

DET: Oden is the 2nd best player in the 08 draft, period. Please tell me why he is the 2nd best player in the draft? What has he done? All I have seen from him is that he is injury prone. And when he does get time I haven't seen anything that makes me go WOW that guy is great. Until he can stay healthy for a whole season, become a starter, and put up 15 and 10(which he should) I wont ever say he is the 2nd best player in that draft.

Jamal Crawford to the Hawks for Claxton, LawI love this time of year. And the NFL draft, maybe the MLB draft if it weren't so dang long. But that's 'cause I'm a sports nerd and have nothing better to do with my life than hang out with you guys. ;D

I wonder if the Cavs will play Shaq and Z together? They would be tough to matchup with on the offensive end, but on the defensive end teams could take advantage of them. Mostly, by putting whoever is guarding the opposing teams PF in multiple pick and rolls. Shaq nor Z have ever been good at moving their feet on D.
