NBA Legends Rookie Rankings
1-Kevin Love/CHI
Kevin Love is the best rookie in NBA Legends so far. He leads a very dissapointing Chicago Bulls team but he is the shining light of this team averging 18ppg and 8rpg which is very good stats for a young rookie. Can he keep it up and lead his 2-26 Chicago bulls to some more wins we will see soon.
2- Russell Westbrook/IND
Russell Westbrook is coming 2nd in scoring this season in the 08 rookie class, he is an explosive young guard which is what Indiana is all about with rondo and gordon in the front court togeather. Westbrook is averging 18ppg 4.5rpg and 4.5apg he is also having a big month in december look for his numbers to go up after the month. Can Westbrook keep this up and lead the 5-15 Indiana Pacers hopefully he can show the way for the young Pacers.
3- Micheal Beasley/LAC
It is not strange to see this guy in the top 3 rookies so far this season, he is leading the Clippers at the moment and had a big start to the season. When they were nearly in the top 15 teams in the NBA (legends) standings. Beasley is averging 16 ppg and 7.5 rpg. he was playing at small forward at one point in the season and moved to small forward this month. I think this is a good move for LAC, they will need a little luck to get into the playoffs this season i just dont see it happening.
4- Anthony Randolph/CHI
This man was a big suprise this season so far, he has just gone off with his partner Kevin love for the bulls another light at the end of the dark tunnel for the bulls. Anthony Randolph is averging 16ppg and 7.5rpg which is very good numbers for a late top 10 pick as i said before hopefully he can step up and get some more wins on the board for the bulls, because it has not been a good start for them so far.
5- Eric Gordon/IND
Another big time rookie scorer for the Pacers Eric Gordon who is playing a little out of position at small forward when normally he was a shooting guard but he has proven everyone wrong, averging 17ppg and 5rpg which is very good numbers. He has dropped off a little this month but he is comfortabling in the top 5 rookies this season so far could he move him self up we will see soon.
6- OJ Mayo/TOR
OJ Mayo and his Toronto Raptors where hot hot hot early in the season but they have dropped off a little but OJ is still worthy of his number 3 pick in last season's draft. He is a very good small forward and if he wasnt in such a great team his numbers would be up alot more, speaking of numbers he is averging 14.5ppg and 5apg which are solid for a rookie. I think the raptors will step it up after the new year and so will OJ.
7- Jarryd Bayless/DEN
Bayless has been leading the backcourt for Denver for half the season now until Jose Caldron came in but bayless is still doing very well even if he coming off the bench. He is mixing well with D12 at the moment and denver is starting to pick there game up. Bayless is averging 14ppg and 5apg which is basically indenical to Mayo's but bayless is turning the ball over a bit which is holding him back Bayless is going light it up after the new year even if it is off the bench.
8- Jason Thomspon/DEN
Not many big men in these rankings so this guy must be a rare talent, with D12 leading the back court Thomspon has really done well helping on both ends of the floor. He is averging 10ppg and 8rpg with 3apg as well i like this man alot and what he is doing at the moment keep an eye on this guy in the new year.
9- Derrick Rose/OKC
Long time no see D-Rose has been some what dissapointing for memphis no wonder why the traded him to OKC but a new start for D-rose is just what he may need. His numbers need to step up alot averging 11ppg and 6apg which is not what we would have guessed him to be averging this season but a new start at OKC hopefully he can step his game up because OKC will not tolerate any less.
10- Courtney Lee/SAC
Not a big name in the 2008 rookie draft but this man has delieved he is doing his job down at sactown, averging 9ppg 2rrg and 2apg which is not to bad for a late 1st rounder. The kings could have a steal on there hands hear, if he keeps it up he could be the biggest steal of the year.
On The Outside Looking In:
Brandon Rush/SAS
DJ Augustin/LAC
Mario Chamblers/LAC
Brook Lopez/MIA
Joe Alexander/UTAH
