Denver Press: Finally after 2 weeks All-star center Dwight Howard has broken his silence about the trade that brought him back to Denver. The laughable and easy going Howard is very happy to be in Denver and his number show it. His stats are up and he is now at that elite level. Regarding the Pistons Diwght Howard said he was very disappointed at the management. Who without notice traded him due to the poor play of the team. Howard said he would have never resigned with the Pistons if he knew that he was going to be dealt ten games into the season. Howard who is dominating the league and has re-established himself as the best big in the game said he would never return to Detroit and will show the Pistons why trading him was the biggest mistake in franchise history.

Dwight Charlotte Observer, Did you feel like the Pistons had your best interests at heart when they sent TJ Ford and Tony Battie to Charlotte for 3 picks and a SAR? Or were they doing that to resign you then trade you somewhere?

Instead they turned their back and headed in a new direction. The pistons were an elite team but once they traded me that elite title went too.

sheed gay melo j-rich stuckey hill that is a playoff contender come on guys he is in a slump dont give up on the D that's a good line up i don't think...stuckey,jrich,gay,melo,sheed can compete with toronto, orlando, new jersey, bucks, and to some extend the cavs. Pretty much it comes down to an underside from court and inexperience back court vs teams with a solid 5

I'd be mad too, if a team paid me 20mil/year. Lol, seriously though, if I were Detroit, I would've built around Howard.

It's just a little interesting to see someone clear cap space and say this guy is my franchise player, and then turn around and deal him 2 weeks into the season.
I'd be pretty pissed.
